WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
I purchased a new vehicle from Kalispell Hyundai in Nov 2013.Paid cash. Vehicle and warranty are great, BUT cusomer service is HORRIBLE!!! I have tried to talk to [redacted], the owner regarding this, but he doesnt return phone calls.Hyundai Corp. says go to another dealer.Unfortunately, the closest one is 120 miles away.....

Review: My husband and I went in and test drove a dodge caravan with [redacted] and during the test drive he told us that it has blue tooth in the van. We bought the van home and tried to the pair the blue tooth or u connect has dodge calls it and it would not work. I call [redacted] and let him now he said that he would put it in. So I took it in and he and I think it was a manager gave me a little box called the parrot and they said it works great and so I thought I would give it a try but does not work anything like the car one. I called back and talked to a manager and they said that they are not willing to put it in the radio like I was told it had. I then ask for the general manager to call me and he would not. Then [redacted] wanted to see what he could do and he took over working with the general manager. After weeks of talking with [redacted], he said that they are not willing to make it right. They know that [redacted] told us that it was in the van on the test drive and they do not want to make it right. [redacted] said the system is 1000.00 to put in car and he even told me that he would pay for 1/2 if I wanted to spilt with him and I think he told them the same thing. This vehicle was over 17000 and it is not like we can not just go out and change it for another one. I am hoping that you can help us with this. Thank you for your time, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like them to put the system that I was promise into the van.

Response:

I am well aware of the customer and their issues. The customer signed all the paperwork including an as-is statement. There was no due bill as there was nothing promised. [redacted] had told the customer that the vehicle had a blue tooth system. The customer came back 2 days later stating they could not pair their phones with the vehicle. The sales person out of his own pocket agreed to buy a bluetooth system for the customer. They were happy for over a month and then called complaining that the bluetooth system did not hold a charge for long enough and that they wanted the store to "fix" the issue. The sales person and the dealership has taken the appropriate steps to give the customer a bluetooth system. This was all done even though it was a used vehicle and the there was nothing owed to the customer. Again the customer signed an as-is statement that voids any verbal or oral warranty's or guarantees about the vehicle. As far as Kalispell [redacted] is concerned we have done every thing we will do for the issue. Mind you the customer forgets that the dealership paid for a ignition switch that we didn't have to pay for. We did this because we do the right thing every time. That ignition switch was a close to or over a $500.00 repair. The customer did not have to nor was expected to pay for this issue.

Thank You,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9715698, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In the response to the letter from the dealership they said that they paid over $500 to fix the ignition, but they only paid 100.00. We bought an CNA National Warranty which paid for the ignition to be fixed less a $100 deductible. (They even tried to make me pay for this at one time until I complained about this.) I would like them to pay to put this system in the car that I was told in the vehicle upon buying it. They said it is not in the paper work but I specifically ask [redacted] the salesmen if it was in the car and he said it was in there. I trust that he would let us know if it was not in there. My husband and I were not looking to buy at that time, we were looking at several different vehicle but since this van had very thing that we wanted and they could get us the extent warranty, we decided to buy it. If I had knew that the phone did not go threw the car we would probably not have bought it. I wanted to give the product that they gave me a chance, but it does not keep a charge for very long and it does not unpair when you leave the car so when I am in my house it is still attached to the car. Also, when you say someone's name it does not work the first time. Again I would like them to stand by the word of the salesmen and put the system in the van. The salesmen said that he would pay for half of it . So he should have no problem paying for it since he said that he paid over 500.00 and he only paid 100.00 to have the ignition fixed. As I was told by [redacted] that it was only 1000.00 to put it in. Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Business
