Exceptional health care
I came to the hospital for a surgery and had to stay for 5 days. After two days I was transfered from the ICU to the Med surg unit. All the people were good but one stood out above the rest as the most compasionate health care worker ive ever dealt with. She was an RN and her name was Nicole. She addressed me as “my friend”. The thing is the care I received by her during my stay made me feel like she actually cared for me as if I was a close friend. I really hope this employee is recongnized because she goes above and beyond doing her job.

Kalispell Regional Medical Center (AKA Logan Health)
This entire hospital network is corrupt. Some good physicians but a vast majority zero from the neck up. Rude, biased and down right ignorant. They double bill the insurance company and they are on Medicare assignment so they can't bill the patient anymore than Medicare allows so they change the billing codes around to bamboozle the insurance company and the patient. The providers must put facts into your medical chart not personal biased opinions that have nothing to do with the nature of the physician or ER visit. They violate the HIPPA Laws on a regular basis and NOW there was a cyber attack data breach exposed all the patients personal "Confidential" medical info and social security numbers dates of birth address' anything about you was exposed. That don't care about the patients and leave a vast majority in pain from sports injuries or accidents to psychological trauma. They want to Push harmful drugs on patients keep them in a controlled zombie state all the while there screwing the patient and the insurance company over. It's all money with these crooked f[censored]! This entire hospital and all of its clinics near and far needs to be investigated for deception and unlawful practices.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Billing Dept. corrupt, numerous illegal tactics are common.
We got half a dozen bills with only an amount of money, no provider name, no date of service, no procedure code, literally nothing but an amount of money (several thousand $$). I had not seen a physician in over a year. I told them there must be a mistake, can I get a standard bill, so I know what services these charges are for? No HIPPA law, I am the patient. They laughed and said "We'll never give you that information, just pay it".

Regarding other medical bills - They do not credit your payments to your account, after taking your money. Test them, ask for a receipt with previous balance, payment, and new balance, they will not provide it.
Several years ago after a car wreck, they turned him over several times while he called out in pain "no, my back, its excruciating don't move me". They said "No broken bones per your ct scan your not hurt". Several months later another Dr. found he had 2 broken vertebrae, I had 1. We both had major surgery months later. That night the ER would not admit either of us because they said, "all our beds are full" "we have no extra beds ... we don't even have cots for in the case of a natural disaster" . This was before COVID. THEY OWN 99% OF DR.'S IN FLATHEAD COUNTY. Go somewhere else, the stress will kill you, and they don't care.

I work in healthcare. A resident under my care experienced a fall this week with a substantial head injury. The ER at Kalispell declined to perform xrays, and only did a CT scan of the head and neck. The head injury? No dressing, no stitches, and no keeping the resident for observation. The ER was quite rude to our staff when they called back and said you need to come get your resident now. Needless to say--the family of the resident no longer wants to use Kalispell Regional for any emergencies. I would recommend North Valley Hospital in the future--this is not the first time the ER has been so inept in taking care of an emergency. . .. ..

I went into krmc er to try to get help with my excruciating pain in my teeth the doctor that saw me at my time of visit was extremely helpful he was trying everything in his power to help me. He referred me to the "on call" dentist who I had to follow up with the next day and so I followed my instructions and did just that. The "on call" dentist took one xray of my tooth that is causing me thos pain and told me there was not anything he can do at this point other then tell me to go see a different dentist and have them do a full exam of my mouth and figure out the order of priorities for my issue. The er doctor that I saw last night his name was dr. Tyler Hoppes told me that if I had any issues to call the er after I was done with my visit to the "on call" dentist so I called to see if they had any advice to try to resolve my issue and I was transferred to three different people who were all rude to me and talked down to me simply because I dont have insurance because I am a single parent struggling to make ends meet and can not afford any kind of insurance what so ever. Every person I spoke to today at the er was rude and didn't care about trying to help me resolve my pain.

Review: I am dealing with KRMC, and as medical issues are not allowed on here, I am leaving that part out.

I have been billed for services I did not consent to. I have reported to them the events of my visit

to their ER and their administrative staff is unresponsive. They have not dealt with the issues of the

false billing, they have not had their risk management respond to me, they have not had their customer relations respond to me, other than a delayed, unsigned letter saying "we're sorry you didn't have a good experience" basically.

They have added to my problems, and in addition sent a paper trying to get me to sign something that would show I agree the bill is mine. One of their billing departments has already turned me over to collection, being fully aware of the situation going on, which is harassment. This started March 6, 2015. The communications problems with them, apparently are not just with me. They also have communication problems within their own administrative offices, and did not get all the information together so one hand knows what the other is, or in this case is not, doing.Desired Settlement: Resolution will be they learn to communicate with each other, and make a policy that they do not ignore the contacts by their customers, but deal with it. They will stop trying to charge me for services I did not consent to or want; You do not go to the grocery store, and then get told at the end you have to take these groceries you did not want, and you have to pay for them.

Review: I was participating in the Summit Medical Fitness Center, on a doctor prescription beginning September 27, 2013. I applied for a scholarship due to being on zero income. I gathered together the initial fee and paid the monthly fee of $17 through December 2013. I informed the agency that I couldn’t afford the scholarship fee many times.

The last day I came to the agency, December 12, 2013, the pool substitute was more interested in visiting with her friend than teaching the class. Many in the pool told me attendance is down when they call to hear the regular teacher is absent. This was the second time this happened.

I recently tried to renew my scholarship through [redacted]. She sent an email to [redacted], liaison for the Scholarship Committee. [redacted] called me a few days later to inform me that she was not taking my case to the Scholarship Committee and was quite rude about it. She informed me of the regular costs to join again.

Each time I came, I noticed several staff members just standing around at the front desk.

It would have been more economical to suspend my account than totally lose many customers because of the treatment of 1. Word gets around in this small community.Desired Settlement: Clear off the balance. Allow me to continue my scholarship (doctor's orders) at the rate of the scholarship amount. If this is agreed, don't treat me any differently than regularly paying customers.

Went to Big Sky Family Clinic at Kalispell Regional Medical Center while traveling. Wasn't very busy and staff was great, timely and thorough. I actually had recommended the clinic to friends before I received the follow-up bill. I was there on a Saturday (I have no insurance) and was told since the billing department wasn't present, I should pay the $40.00 minimum fee and they would send me a bill for any costs over that. I just received a bill for $114.00 more. I wondered what they could possibly be charging me for after a 15 minute visit with the doctor (I was supposed to see a nurse, but she was busy). There were no special tests taken, nothing besides the standard height, weight, bp, temperature. Was given prescription for antibiotics to combat wisdom tooth infection until I could get home to have it removed. Called them on the phone after receiving bill and they told me this is standard price for new patients with my type of visit. If they would have given me even a close estimate of what the visit would cost before hand I never would have agreed to that price. $154.00 total for a 15 minute visit to the clinic is well above the national average. Don't recommend going unless its an emergency and everything else is closed or money means nothing to you.
