Kalos Construction

We hired Mike W. under the business name Kalos Construction. On signing we paid Mike as outlined on the contract. Mr. W. said he will provide drawings or plans for the home renovation. He also stated there were no need for permits since he would be using existing plumbing. He also stated he is wsib cleared for the type of work and have license for electrical and plumbing. We asked Mike to provide these license and kept getting excuses, which eventually turned into anger and threats. He demolished our basement and home and reused 50 yr old insulation. When questioned about it he said it was not in the scope of work when it was clearly outlined in the contract we signed with him. This also included framing and electrical work. Mike did all the electrical and plumbing himself . He covered live wires, placed plumbing on cold walls, there was no venting for plumbing. the washroom exhaust was venting into the dryer.no electrical work in the basement was done by a licensed electrician.
