We hired Keith Kamiyama through Jeff Davis "The Solar Guy" to install 2 solar attic fans, a split AC, a solar water heater and PV panels. We were promised the work would be done within 3 weeks. It took more than six months. We had one request for the PV panels. Put it on the carport, not the roof. Jeff checked the carport and said they could do it. The day of installation, they came without any brackets for the carport, said they could not install it on the carport, and that they had to install it on the roof. On top of that, they illegally installed the PV without a permit from HECO.
When they needed to collect payment, they both answered every phone call or text immediately. After they received their money, they have been unreachable and haven't responded to emails, texts or phone calls. We now have to go through a different contractor to finish the work that Kamiyama Electric said they would do, were paid for, and didn't complete.
DO NOT GO THROUGH KAMIYAMA ELECTRIC.
