If you are planning on purchasing furniture from the Brandsource in Kamloops, BC STOP!!!!! I have never in my life received such horrible service That is my warning to all of you, wish I would have read the reviews before stepping in their door We purchased [redacted] sofa and chairs that were custom made for us on January 1, My husband and I were very excited and happy with the sales person We were told that because it was a custom order that it would take 6-weeks for delivery but they have seen furniture arrive before thenAt the time I was not worried about the length of time as I still had my old furniture to sell I paid the full amount of $on January 1, and it is now April and I am still waiting Once week came I went to the Brandsource and inquired about my order and Kimberly said it would take another weeks and we would receive a call once it arrived I let it go for another weeks and still no phone call from them so I called to follow up at which point the nightmare started I called at least once a week after week to follow up and one particular call I was told by Sandra (in an irritated tone) that if I didn't receive a call from them that meant your furniture had not arrived I explained to her that I have been following up on my order for several weeks and felt it was not my job to keep following up that they should be providing courtesy calls I finally received a call from Kimberly at the beginning of March who said my order had shipped and should arrive in the next week Well, two out of the three pieces were delivered on March and when I asked the delivery guy where the other chair was he told me that it should arrive in the next few days that sometimes they ship separately I of course called to inquire about the chair and Kimberly said she would look into it and call me back After over a dozen phone calls (I stopped counting after that) and listening to the same excuse and not being able to answer my questions in a truthful manner I asked to speak to the Manager (Alvin) I was told that he was out of town and would call once he was back in the office on Monday, March I waited and didn't receive a call so of course I called and asked to speak with Alvin who was not helpful and told me several times that I needed to be patient with him that he was expecting a truck in a few days and would give me a call once it arrived I told him that if the chair was not in my home by Friday, April that he could come and pick up the other two pieces and I expect a full return on my money I would like to say that I am not an unreasonable person, I am pretty calm, don't like confrontation and very patientI waited until Friday, April at which point my husband called and asked to speak with Alvin and he was told that he would be back in the office in minutes and he would give us a call Half hour went by and we didn't receive a call so my husband called back and was told that Alvin did not return back and he would call as soon as possible Well, April Alvin did call and I could not get a word in as Alvin definitely likes to speak more than he likes to listen He was extremely rude and abrupt and after listening to him rant for several minutes, I asked him to stop so that I can get a few words in He did inform me that the chair was shipped from Toronto on March and the reason for the delay was the manufacture was waiting for the fabricHe told me that I was lucky to have received the other pieces in such a short time frame and to be patient with the other pieceI told him that I did not consider eleven weeks a short time frame and that I have been patient enough I mentioned to him that the one chair that was delivered was not the same firmness (we asked for extra firm seating) as the sofa He said that he would have Sandra call one of his technicians to come over (technician could take up to two weeks) and he would be able to fix it on the spot and if not they would have to order more cushion material and it could take a few more weeks Alvin was apologetic for the trouble we have gone through and asked for me to come to the store as he would like to offer me an in store credit I basically ended the conversation saying I will never ever walk into his business again, his customer service was horrible and he will definitely not get any business from me or our family in the future On April the second chair was delivered and the firmness of the chair was perfect Well we are at April and finally the 2nd chair is being worked on In total we have been dealing with our furniture issue for seventeen weeks this is unacceptable! Being new to the community we have had such wonderful customer service at other businesses and the people here are extremely friendly and helpful I can't say the same for the Brandsource!!!!!

We were told that because it was a custom order that it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery but they have seen furniture arrive before then. At the time I was not worried about the length of time as I still had my old furniture to sell. I paid the full amount of $4500 on January 1, 2016 and it is now April 29 and I am still waiting.
Once week 6 came I went to the Brandsource and inquired about my order and Kimberly said it would take another 2 weeks and we would receive a call once it arrived. I let it go for another 2 weeks and still no phone call from them so I called to follow up at which point the nightmare started.
