Review: Purchased a pair of shoes in early June. On the first day the shoes were work, the left shoe split open. The shoes were returned to the store a few days later. Told that shoes were out of stock, but would be ordered.

After two weeks, was told that the shoes were on backorder and would not be available for two-three more weeks. I requested a refund whereby I was told that because the shoes were worn, I could not get a refund.

The only reason the shoes were returned was due to the poor craftmanship....they split at the seams.

Spoke to the manager (Steve) who was extremely rude and hung up on me.

Upon examination, wc determined that a replacement should be warranted and contacted our vendor accordingly. Ordinarily, these quality issues are dealt with swiftly and in accordance with theirs and Kamps policies, We were originally told by the vendor the replacement would be in their warehouse on July 10th and was later informed they could not get the shoe until July 21st.We have been in business for 35 years and take extreme pride in our relationships with our vendors and even more with the service to our customers. As explained, a new item is expected to arrive by July 21st in the vendor’s possession. Subsequently, we expect your replacement to be delivered to us by late July. When we last spoke to you, we offered to give you a refund. Obviously, your actions are speaking beyond what we all thought your expectations were. As we persist on keeping our customers informed, we too find it disconcerting that we haven’t fulfilled ours or our vendor’s wishes to keep our customer in the forefront.We understand if you do not wish to wait for the replacement pair and will issue you a refund.
