I was referred to Kandis Munro to assist with filing paperwork with the VA to see if my elderly mother would qualify to receive any additional benefitsI was very transparent with Kandis and showed her my moms banking account information, showing dollar amounts that were deposited from the VA already, etc
After paying her $400, she said she would submit all our paperwork, etc in order to get the ball rolling with the VAAbout weeks later, she called to say that my mom would not qualifyI asked why notShe explained that my mom is already receiving the maximum benefit availableI asked how does she know thatHer response was that she knew based on the information from the deposit that my mom gets from the VAShe knew as soon as I showed her my moms banking information however still accepted my $Why didn’t she just tell me right then and there that my mom was already receiving the benefit before taking my money? Oh wellLesson learnedI cannot fight for my $back because she has a contract that states “no guarantees”

Ms Munro came to my house when my husband was hospitalized, I was unsure of my benefits for VA, income and investments limits, etc She was referred and worked with California Care Planning Council I put my trust in her to file a claim with VA This was approx April She took my $and made me sign a waiver to not file suit on her I have not spoke to her sinceAs of today I finally spoke to her, September 17, she has not filed a thing with VAI really am very upset, distraught and want other people to know not to trust her
