The response supports my complaint regarding inappropriate service and suspected inappropriate reporting of income for servicesI provided a 2-day time frame for the date of my service and he claimed that I have never been to the salonEither he does not have a record of my visit - which means it would not be reported for proper taxation, or he is not being truthful regarding record of the gift certificateHe claims the record keeping is to verify the correct balanceWhat would happen if I came into the salon and they had no record to compare my gift certificate to confirm the balance? Would I then be required to forfeit based on their poor record keeping? Customers should be aware of this process prior to purchasing gift certificates
