I visited Kanis Dental at Kanis Rd in Little Rock, AR 72211-with an aching toothI left with damaged teeth and an unnecessary/outstanding billThe lobby and the staff were friendly and invitingThe business had a family-like atmosphereInitially, my teeth were evaluated by the doctor and/or the assistant and then I was directed to the front counter to take care of the payment prior to receiving servicesThis routine happened the next few visits: I am evaluated, directed to the front counter to take care of payment and then given my desired serviceThe last visit to Kanis Dental did not follow the same procedurei was evaluated, received the service and then was directed to the counter to payAt this point, I was told that my insurance coverage for dental services had reached its limit and that I would have to cover the remainder of the bill myselfI felt dupedHad Kanis Dental followed the routine as it had for all my visits, I would have postponed dental services until January when my when my policy had renewedAlso, each visit was somewhat uncomfortableI would spend some time during the consultation phase trying to convince the dentist/assistant to provide my requested serviceI was repeatedly told that I either did not need the service, the complete service could not be performed all in one visit; though I scheduled the service well in advance, and/or the condition of my teeth were fine in comparison to most patientsI would eventually say, "Is there a problem with providing the service or do you have another patient scheduled at the same time?" This is an unnecessary and uncomfortable situation to be in while trying to receive dental care The tooth that initially brought me to Kanis Dental has now broken completely in two and serves and a haven for stray foodother teeth are chipped as a result of one service I receivedI am now more skeptical and phobic of dentist than I was initially

I visited Kanis Dental at 10825 Kanis Rd in Little Rock, AR 72211-3826 with an aching tooth. I left with 5 damaged teeth and an unnecessary/outstanding bill. The lobby and the staff were friendly and inviting. The business had a family-like atmosphere. Initially, my teeth were evaluated by the doctor and/or the assistant and then I was directed to the front counter to take care of the payment prior to receiving services. This routine happened the next few visits: I am evaluated, directed to the front counter to take care of payment and then given my desired service. The last visit to Kanis Dental did not follow the same procedure. I was evaluated, received the service and then was directed to the counter to pay. The tooth that initially brought me to Kanis Dental has now broken completely in two and serves and a haven for stray food. 4 other teeth are chipped as a result of one service I received. I am now more skeptical and phobic of dentist than I was initially.
