Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When [redacted] left voice mail at our home phone number she failed to say she was from [redacted] I had never heard of Kapaa Print & Ship and thought that someone was calling to have a condo cleanedOur phone number previously belonged to a janitorial serviceShe never mentioned my husband's name The phone number that is listed for [redacted] is never mannedMy husband called at least half a dozen times and could never get hold of anybodyWe had no idea how to get hold of the owners/managers and there was no way to leave voice mailThat is why my husband told the maintenance worker to the facility that it was taking longer than expected to clear out the [redacted] locker When my husband called [redacted] back at the Print & Ship number she was immediately very hostile to himHe was so upset that he could not continue the conversation and asked me to deal with the problemShe was very rude and both [redacted] and I were unable to even speak as [redacted] would not stop talkingShe just kept being verbally abusive to both of us, saying she was going to keep our deposit I have spoken to several other bidders at the auction who also feel that it is impossible to contact this company (companies) and their customer service skills are lacking Both my husband and I can attest to the way we were treated by [redacted] but she has no one to back her up her story It is hard to understand that a company would keep a person like [redacted] as a manager, unless, of course, she is familyBoth my husband and I work in the business field and quite frankly, were shocked by our treatment from [redacted]

The events to which *** *** is referring to begin at our *** Auction, which was held at our Kapa'a Self-*** facility (formerly known as ***), on Saturday, September 20th, 2014, at a.min the morning, it was held in partnership with Malama Auctions. Mr
*** *** *** husband, along with a dozen or so other customers, attended the auctionUpon arrival, Mr*** and every other customer in attendance signed the Auction Agreement form, which I have attachedThe agreement clearly states that the units must be cleaned within 24 hours and that the cleaning deposit will not berefunded if the units are not vacated and cleaned. For further instruction, the customers were to follow the instruction of the Auctioneer and facility management. It was clearlystated at the beginning of the auction, as well as several times during and after, that additional time would be given to clean the units, and that they should be completely cleaned and emptied by the following Monday, September 22nct. If additional time was needed, they could speak with facility management and arrange more time, or a rental of the unit in question. Of the other units sold in auction, the only one to fail to follow these instructions was Mr***. Two other customers contacted us in need of more time to vacate the unit, and knowing that some off the units were quite full, we allowed them anotherweek, until the Monday the 29th, to finish vacating. During this time we received no communications from Mrand Mrs***. On the 29th our Store Manager,*** attempted to contact Mr*** at the phone number given to us, by him, at the auction. No one answered and *** left a message regarding the unitA woman (Mrs***) called us back shortly after, and, told us we had the wrong number, and that she didn't know anyone named ***The next day, on the 30th, Mr*** contacted us to let us know that we did have the correct number, and that he had yet to vacate the unit. We again explained to Mr*** that the unit should have been vacated by the 22nct, and since he did not attempt to contact us for more time, that we would have to get authorization from our General Manager for him to still receive his refundWhen told that he may not receive his deposit back, he immediately became irate and began to swear over the phone at ***After this conversation Mrs*** called and furthered this verbal abuse.At this point, because of their unreasonable attitudes and abusive language we are no longer willing to negotiate with Mrand Mrs***They failed to follow the instructions set forth at the auction,and made no attempt to contact us during business hours, or even email usOur contact information is posted in multiple, very obvious locations around the *** yard, including the address for our website, which can be used to contact us 24 hours a day.In conclusion, while the staff of Kapa'a Self-*** apologizes for any confusion perceived by Mrand Mrs***, the confusions seems to be theirs and theirs alone. They will not be receiving a refund for their cleaning deposit, as per the rules clearly stated, and signed by Mr*** at the auctionTheir language and treatment of our staff was, in a word, deplorable
