Kaplan Higher Education

Review: While I was attending Kaplan I didn't owed them any money as of 3/17 / 14. I had attended a mandatory extern bootcamp session on 4/14/14. Kaplan had 14 school calendar days to place a student for their externship training. I was notified by the extern coordinator on 4/16/14 that she has two locations for me. However the lack of effort was evident on their behalf because she never schedule for a meeting until 4/25/14 and on the 4/28/14 I was told by the extern coordinator that it is my last day. That was in fact the 10th day and 4 day left to try to find a extern facility. Kaplan had stopped making effort on my behalf on 4/28/14. Then removed me from enrollment. I didn't withdraw from Kaplan. I was informed by their staff member that I have to wait 30 day to return and complete the course. I believe that the extern placement was purposely sabotage to incur some type of debt to the school. When I returned as they had required they placed $2,300 debt in my name. They want me to pay for their staff mistakes and lack of effort. I hadn't any debt to the school prior to them removing me from enrollment. Also I have been getting calls from their collection department with over 18 harassing calls about this debt. I have sent a email about this monetary issue to Mr B[redacted] the director of the school and receive no response. I have also called about this issue. They have rob me of my diploma. I now have to pay the Government loan back for something that is incomplete.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the Kaplan school remove the total amount due to them.
