I am in receipt of the letter that was sent to our corporate office, Kappa Publishing in Blue Bell, PA The complaint concerns Kappa Map Group which is located in Deland, FL as Kappa Map publishes the North America Large Print Road Atlas (ID# [redacted] ) First of all, let me apologize for the way our customer service representative handled the complaint I was not aware of this until I received your letter todayKappa Map Group will gladly refund the customer for the atlas or we will send a more detailed atlas product at no chargeLet me know which resolution will work best Thanks again, Sharon Sharon E [redacted] Director, Specialty Sales Kappa Map Group New York Avenue Deland, FL

I ordered a large print Atlas from Kappa Map Group When it arrived I found that many rather large and/or prominent cities were not listed or shown (example: Rancho Mirage, California) Additionally, the "large print" did not include the printout of the listed cities I also discovered that this Kappa Map Group is apparently a subsidiary (or something) of Universal Maps out of Florida because I was billed from them (their phone number is: ***)
When I complained to Kappa Map Group (I spoke to Rose) I was told that because I ordered the large print edition not all cities or towns were listed There was nothing in their advertising that suggested the large print atlas would not be a COMPLETE atlas When I spoke with Rose in customer service she basically blew me off and told me that if I wanted to return the book it would cost me a 33% restocking fee PLUS I would have to pay sipping
This is not acceptable No suggestion that the larger print atlas would be incomplet
