shallow rooted and browns out every summer whenever temperatures exceed 80 degrees or so. He had many other types of grasses in affected by the lawn application and I showed him all of these variances. We met with him and his son on several occasions explaining the same thing. In no way was Kapp's responsible for causing this to happen. However because of Mr. [redacted]'s continued loyalty to Kapp's I offered to aerate the lawn for a 15% discount and to apply a dormant overseeding at the end of the season at a 50% discount. This type of seeding requires no watering at the home owners expense. Thank you for giving us a chance to respond through the B.B.B.I have reviewed Ms. [redacted]’s account and would like to review the timeline of events as we have them recorded:Ms. [redacted] signed up for service on 4/21/17 and the first application of the season was applied on 4/24/17.5/18/17 The second...

application and free iron was applied with no complaint of service. 6/6/17 we received payment for the first two applications6/14/17 we applied the third application with no complaint of service.7/6/17 we received a call from Ms. [redacted] regarding a concern of pkly weeds growing on the lawn.7/7/16 I came out inspected and sprayed the lawn for thistle and other weeds in response to the call 7/6/17.7/11/17 we received a payment for the third application.7/13/17 we applied the fourth application with no complaint of service8/23/17 we applied the fifth application with no complaint of service 9/5/17 we left a message on Ms. [redacted]’s voicemail to call our office regarding her acct.9/8/17 we received Ms. [redacted]’s payment for the forth application that contained a note that stated “I want all remaining services cancelled effective 8/4/7/17. Thank you”, we cancelled services that day.10/6/17 we left a message on Ms. [redacted]’s voicemail to call our office regarding her acct.10/26/17 we received letter from Ms. [redacted] which stated:" To the owner of Kapp’s Green Lawn, I signed up for your service for the 2017 season. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service received. I observed one of your technicians get out of his vehicle, stand in my backyard, make two quick sprays and promptly leave. The invoice he left on my front door certainly did not match the three minutes he stood in my yard and looked around. For this reason, I do not feel that I owe Kapp’s Green Lawn any more money. The $86 I pay is certainly not worth the level of service provided, I will not be a return customer. Sincerely [redacted]"I must apologize for the slow response to her letter of 10/26/17, however Ms. [redacted] never notified us of her concern prior to 10/26/17.  I’m sure that Ms. [redacted] observation is just a misunderstanding and as such, I wish she had contacted me sooner.  I could have met with her immediately after aforementioned observation in her letter of 10/26/17 to go over the lawn.Based on our time line and documentation, I do not see merit in crediting her balance, but I am willing to split the final balance of $83.16 equally to resolve the matter, and would like to meet with Ms. [redacted] in the spring to go over the lawn.

We cancelled Mr. [redacted]’s account on 5/03/17 after he had received two applications from us.A credit was issued on 5/4/17 which credited part of the balance. After further review we have credited remaining balance, so Mr. [redacted] has a zero balance. He will receive no more statements or...
