This doctor, recommended by my dentist, did a root canal on me to finish what was started by my dentist, but was unable to complete, in June 2013 for $1000.00 I was asked to pay half down, and to leave two post dated checks, in two amounts to pay the balance. I informed his staff that I was on fixed income (pension) and to make sure one check was deposited at time in 30 day increments, I was assured they would. When Dr [redacted] deposited my first check the amount was incomplete so the bank did not accept the deposit. Buy the end of June I checked my balance and to my surprise no deduction for this check. When I called Dr [redacted]s office, I was told of the error, and was told they would re-deposit, this is now into the first week of July. I called a second time and was assured I would be called to make sure there was suffeint amount to cover the next check each check was $276.00 , now being I get paid once a month I wanted to make sure.Buy the 27th of July I recieved an alert on my account of an over draft, Of $276.00 because the office deposited before the 30 day increments of auto deposit,and a fee of $34.00 for that over draft. I had to borrow the money to update the account. When I called the office to inform them of there mistake, they took a hard stance and said I should have had enough money in my account, because the checks were dated June and July. I explained that I do not get paid until the First day of the month. They knew that but deposited two checks in ONE month. I asked for a $34.00 refund to cover the banks overdraft for there mistake, the staff says NO I said let me talk to the Doctor, the staff informed the Doctor feels the same way, I warned I would turn in there shady payment practice,to the Revdex.com they said go ahead will fight it. I think this is a very shady practice and taking advantage of people on a pension.I did not think that $34.00 was unreasonable to pay back the fee, every dollar out of my fixed income is very difficult today to try and survive on pension
