Revdex.com, Our phone dispatchers reads from a script and check off boxes in our booking system that confirm all clients are told of our hourly billable rate and a $cancellation fee if they cancel their appointment Both check boxes were marked for [redacted] appointment The reason we charge a cancellation fee is once a client books an appointment the rest of the day is scheduled around that appointment Within half an hour an entire day is already scheduled up and not much can be done to reschedule five to eight other appointments When a client cancels their appointment our company still has to pay that employee to sit around and do nothing until their next appointment time, which was the case with [redacted] cancellation [redacted] was told of our cancellation policy when she booked the work order She was told again of our cancellation policy when she called back in to cancel her appointment I have personally called and left several voice-mails for [redacted] explaining why we charge a cancellation policy but have never spoken to her Dr [redacted] ***Karls Technology

Over this past weekend, we lost wireless internet connection on our laptop and smelled burned electrical components Oh boy! Attempted several times to regain Internet access without successAs we are new to the Valley, carried out online research with our cell phone and saw that Mesa Computer Repair (aka Karls Technology) had many satisfied customers Thought we'd give them a shot tooCalled and spoke to *** who kindly set up an appointment for the next day with *** The next day, *** and one of his other colleagues *** came out to our place (Note: they called to explain they would be running a little late as they were caught in a the severe Monsoon storm we had here in the Valley yesterday evening They were only a few minutes late as they actually had to pull over and wait for the hail to stop!) When *** and *** arrived, they patiently listened to my brief description of what happened*** attempted to obtain a connection to the Internet and had the same lack of success that I had He then (all the while discussing their plan of action with ***) took off the back of our laptop and after a few minutes, narrowed it down to a bad wireless card hub which had burned up This was due to a drink (hint, don't have a drink too close to your laptop when watching an exciting sporting event! Geez!) that was accidentally knocked over and splashed up onto the keyboard about a month ago When that happened, we immediately disconnected the laptop and turned it upside down to drain the drink and to let it dry out We crossed our fingers and hoped for the best However, a month later.....Anyway, back to the review*** and *** explained that they would order a USB Wireless Adapter (hard wiring is not an option) and I gave them the green light They refused payment until the job would be completed the next day Today, *** showed up and installed the USB Wireless Adapter and successfully had it ping our router and the problem was solvedThe service charge for one hour (this included two trips to our home here in Mesa) plus the component was very reasonable considering I thought the motherboard had gone out and was expecting to replace our laptop due to having had it for three yearsI would also like to comment that these guys were great from the moment they took our first call (also calling to keep me appraised of their arrival each day) through the final resolution Also, they were cool in not making me feel bad about being such a klutz! Friendly, professional and honest I'll be using these guys for any future issues with any of our laptops or PCs Thanks ***, *** and ***!

Dear Marie,Thank you for writing me, I disagree with Karl's Technology that I was told about a cancellation policyI never would have made the reservationThis has become a frustrating situation, I had called Karl's Technology onMonday 12/at 10am to schedule some one to look at my computer, I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday 12/I called back four hours later on Monday at 2pm to cancelThere was nothing wrong with my computer, I had taken my computer to work and I had some buddy look at it at work that MondayI have called Karl's Technology several times to resolve this issue only to leave messagesI believe this is a scam and others may benefit from my experienceKarl's Technology had more than a hour window to rescheduleI never agreed to a cancellation policy nor did I sign anythingIf you need any further information feel free to email meThank you for your cooperation.Sincerely, *** ***

Revdex.com,There isn't much to offer in regards to *** *** complaint We routinely provide goodwill adjustments for clients that call and apologize about cancellations, especially when it involves circumstances outside of their control Neither of those qualifications are applicable in *** *** case We are a company that is focused on quality customer service and more than anything customer satisfaction Customers like *** *** that yell and scream at our employeesthreaten legal action against us and hangup on us tend to not get goodwill adjustments due to the way they interact with the people trying to assist them*** *** had already been refereed to collections prior to Revdex.com's involvement in this dispute I will make a goodwill adjustment to *** *** bill reducing it by $so that she owes $ There is nothing I can do about her credit report or her being refereed to collections I inquired from our collections company, Paid in Full, about her account and received this in response:Should this matter get paid or settled with your office, we will then update their credit report accordingly Many times the debtors will ask if the collections notice will be removed from their credit report The answer is we are required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act to accurately report what kind of payer they are and we cannot trade favorable credit for payment So once this is taken care of, we will report accordingly as a paid or settled collection effort.:if this is an acceptable resolution to this dispute we will report to collections that *** *** account was settled Please let us know how *** *** would like to proceed.*** *** ***Karls Technology Computer Repair
