My motorcycles was in an accident and State Farm paid out on the claim. I took my motorcycle to this company to be fixed. It was supposed to be repaired and done within 30 days. It has been in the shop since September and it is still in the shop. I have paid $4,025 up front and then another $2,000 a month later. I then paid him $1000 deductible and also paid him to repair my truck. I am getting the run around from him. I tried picking up the motorcycle after 2-3 months and he tried charging me storage fees if I took it. He told me the only way to resolve it was to let him fix it. I am getting no where. I was last told it was going to be done by the bike show which was Feb 1 and that didn't happen.
This was a custom motorcycle that we built previously. We were working through the insurance company and had to get approval from them. He called and wanted to have another shop complete the work. We had put lots of time and effort into getting the estimate. We charged him for storage, originally. I explained to him that if we did the work that we did the work there wouldn't be a charge for storage. Close to the end of the job, the neck kit was incorrect and had to be reordered. He has not brought the bike back. He never paid his deductible. I don't owe him any money.
