My time spent with Karma Tech Pro has been very satisfactory. When I have needed help they have been Johnny-on-the-spot. I would recommend I came across who was in need of services of their type. The head Supervisor is an excellent fellow and has aided me on many accasions. [redacted]

I AM SO TIRED OF SCAMS-SCAMS- AND SO HAPPY TO RECEIVE THE KARMA.TECH SUPPORT--AND ALSO RELIEVED.

14pt; font-family: Symbol; font-weight: normal;">·        First of all customer said told that we are from Microsoft if we did told him/her why he/she paid us online to invoice sent to his/her email via Quick books from KARMA TECHPRO and why he/she signed an agreement of service delivered.

·         Customer made a payment of $299.99 for computer servicing along with 2 years of Free tech support. As we told him/her that we will helping him/her in the best possible way we can just like a IT Guy helps In Technical problem.

·        We never told anyone that we are Microsoft etc. We decline this statement.

·        We fired a staff we thought is misusing customer’s details and hence, we sent an email to each of our customer for a New Privacy policy.

·         I believe this complaint was filed on Feb 24th but New Privacy Policy was sent on Feb 23rd assuming this type of situation might come, that someone will call our customer’s to brain wash them. And, here I believe same thing happened with the customer as we know this customer does not know so much technical stuff that she mentioned almost exact opposite what we told the customer.

·        Customer mentioned that he/she contacted us on Feb 16th . Please, Find attached call reports and match the last 5 digits of Cr. We deny that we did not received any call for refund request or service agreement cancellation.

·        Why he/she does want to talk to us, yes we did called him/her with both the number’s he/she mentioned, just to take feedback as she charged back, just to know why she was unhappy, Was there any problem she was facing or having not able to reach us etc?

·        We will not contact her if he/she does not call us but she would have sent an email regarding Refund/Cancellation of Service or Not to call request.

Now, Stacy as per our conversation please look into the customer account profile, we have a different email id there along with the agreement details.
You got a complaint from different email address. We sent privacy policy to the email id we had. I sense that somebody convinced this customer to
withdrew the agreement as she was scammed, after convincing customer and making charge back that person sent you an email. I believe this email
might not be the customer’s email. This threat was already assumed by our company.

Let me know how we can resolve this complain for our good. This kind of complaint will harm our companies Credibility and Goodwill.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Karma Techpro called me on January 13th saying that they were from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked. They needed immediate access it to fix it.  This was a cold call to a phone number on the Do Not Call list which makes it an illegal contact. How did they know my computer needed to be fixed. What exactly did they "fix" on my computer for $300.  There was no problem with my computer.  They got lucky because as a senior citizen with no technical knowledge they confused me and took advantage of me.  I said I would take my computer to my local repair man and they still made me believe that they were the only people who could fix it.
They told me that my email address was hacked so they set up a new gmail account.  That is the email address they are referring to in their response.  They set up the email and the password.  I did not use that email before this call and have not used it since then.  My original email works just fine.  That was another lie they told me.
If they believe a former employee was misusing customer information, did they contact the police.  That is a crime.  If they did not contact the police, give us the name and contact information.  What info do they believe this person was misusing and how do they know what this employee was doing with the info.  We can report this person's illegal activity to the police.  Karma Techpro can and will be held accountable if this information is used in any identity theft since they had knowledge of the misuse and did not act to stop it.
On February 16, 2016 at 11:13 am Eastern Standard Time, my daughter and I called my credit card company to discuss the $299.99 charge from Karma Techpro.  The call lasted 24 minutes.  During that call, the credit card company did a conference call with us and Karma Tech Pro which lasted approximately 5 minutes.  Most credit card companies record their phone conversations.  I could contact them to see if they still have the recording of this call, if required.  It was at this time that my credit card company agreed with me that this company is not credible.  That is why they processed the charge back to my credit card for the full amount of $299.99.
On February 24th, someone from Karma Techpro's phone number called my phone 12 times. I have attached the phone records of calls I received.   9 of these calls were within a 6 minute span including 3 calls after they were told NOT to call again.  This is harassment which can be prosecuted.  I don't think he was just looking for feedback during these multiple calls.  After we stopped answering his calls, he left a screaming voice mail on our machine.  At this point we unplugged the phone to prevent any more harassment. According to the February 23rd privacy policy he attached here, they never call a customer but obviously, that policy lasted less than 24 hours.
Since the credit card company took care of the charge from Karma Techpro, the only thing I want is for other people to know this company is a scam.  I just hope this complaint will help someone else who has been scammed by this company as well. Regards,
