Review: I had put an item on lay-a-way and decided to cancel. I took the loss for canceling this and was given a store credit slip. I was at the time informed that I should not loose the slip bc it was the only proof of my credit. However I was not informed that it had an expiration. I returned to the store at a later date and attempted to use the credit and was informed it was then expired. I then asked for a manager and explained how I was not informed at the time of receiving the credit that it had an expiration. I told him I was told not to loose it so I immediately folded it and placed it in my wallet. he was only willing to credit me half of the amount and it had to be used in 30 days. During my wait for the manager I overheard a few employees mention the company was bought out by another since first receiving my credit slip. I am unsure how a company could take your money because you did not use it in a certain amount of time. I have kept the receipt and it shows on the back "half value per [redacted] and [redacted]" The original amount is for $151.00 of store credit and the [redacted]#is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the whole $151 by check or cash.
