I am rejecting this response because: The owner uses abusive and manipulative business tacticsHe refused to give me my money back the 3rd day of class which is why I ended up changing into the evening classI was never satisfied with the program, but due to his refusal to refund my credit card payment, I made a decision to stay with the program instead of losing $I was never given an option for a refund and was offered a class change only I never tried to leave the class when my father had a stroke (just told him I may be absent, but never was) and other than THAT day he had a stoke, I never missed a class or a testI also had an A in the class based on test scoresSo, for him to act as if I didn't want to finish the program is him just trying to slander my characterMr [redacted] intentionally overbooks all of his classes, so to say he lost money because he moved me in class is a lieThe class that I was initially in was already full, so he had to move people regardlessThe anger he tries to slander my character with was a result of him taking my money and forcing me to take him to small claims court or lose my moneyThere was no financial agreement in regards to asking people to leave the program and not returning the money they spent to complete a certification requirementHe also didn't have ANY sort of financial agreement signed until weeks into the class (school days before he kicked me out)I paid him February 10th, and was coerced to sign an application form March 10th or 11thNot having students fill out an application or financial agreement until a month after he was paid for the program shows how coercive and manipulative his business tactics areHe just wants to pocket money as quickly as he can and is nice, until you want your money back or have anything critical to say about his programI wasn't there to learn, I was there to get certified, and will be doing so with another programHe should not be rewarded for rude and abusive business tacticsStudents have the right to learn in an environment where staff doesn't treat them rude and refuse to refund people who aren't happy with the programNow he's just creating costs out of thin air which should be fun to explain in court, invisible costs that don't exist?

I am rejecting this response because: As you can clearly see the ink on the date is a differnt color and different writing than the original I submittedThis guy is a complete scam artist and I will be contacting the California Department of Public Health as well as taking him to small claims court if he does not wish to resolve this through the Revdex.com which is in his best interestI have a completely clear background, have never been arrested or has any issues in years with fraud or the police, so if he wishes to defame my character as well as commit fraud he will be held accountable in the courtsSee you in court Mr***, I'm not one of your students that is scared of court

I stand by my first response to this complaint. I have attached the application form which she signed. The refund policy is directly on top of her signature. Every statement in her response is false. I am ready to go to court with Heather on this matter

[redacted] registered at Kash Career College for the Certified Nurse Assistant Program (CNA).  I explained to her what the requirements arefor her to go through the CNA program. She understood everything that we talked about.  I told her that the cost for the CNA program was...

only $995 and the duration is 19 days. She paid $100.  Out of this, $95 was for the non-refundable registration fee.  The extra $5 went towards paying for the $900 tuition fee.  Never did we discuss about Medical Assisting Program.  Medical Assistant class costs well over $12,000 and takes about six months or more to complete.  How did [redacted] think that she was getting Medical Assistant class for only $995?  In fact, we do not offer or advertise for medical assisting, and it is not on our website.  Her CNA classes started on September 30th.  On this day, she paid $258.  Therefore, altogether, she paid $263 towards the $900 tuition fee. On October the 2nd, [redacted] walked into my office and demanded that I return all the money she paid for the CNA program. She said that she did not register for the CNA class; but that she registered for a Medical Assisting class.  Secondly, she said that she did not gain any knowledge after two days of classes.  As she continued speaking, her voice becamelouder and louder.  She would not let me speak.  Then she called her grandmother on the phone and put her on the speaker. I told [redacted] that I would like to speak to her grandmother but [redacted] would not let me.  Then I told her to tell her grandmother that she could come to the school and speak with me.  [redacted] continued to yell at the top of hervoice and then she got up and started walking out of my office.  This is when she said, “I will make sure thatyour school is shut down.”  “Go back to Africa where you come from.”  This yelling was overheard by her instructor. Her instructor has written a report about Jenae’s yelling on this particular day, and her attitude in class for those two days. On thisparticular day, [redacted] was focused on getting all her money back because according to her: (A) she had registered for a medical assistant class and not CNA and (B) she did not learn anything in two days of class. I am surprised that she is now saying that I hugged her and kissed her.  She is also saying that she was disgustedwhen she found condoms behind my desk.   Let me address these two issues.First, the hugging and kissing; these did not occur at all.  When a client signs up at the school, Isometimes extend my hands towards them to thank them and I say “Welcome to Kash Career College.” This is what happened on the day of registration, and [redacted] istrying to accuse me that I hugged and kissed her.  On the question of the condoms, yes there aretwo boxes of condoms at the school.  One of the boxes is on a table at the lobby, and the other box is in my office, in plain sight.  The box of condoms in myoffice is to replenish the condoms in the lobby.  These condoms are for students at the school who are sexually active and students love to pick them up.  These condoms are provided for our students by the “Women’s Health Specialist.  The Feminist Women’s Centers of California.” Their address is [redacted] and their telephone number is [redacted]. This organization is in business to provide All Birth Control Methods, Pregnancy Testing,Emergency Contraception, Abortion Services, HIV Testing, STD Testing andTreatment, Women’s Health Services, Men’s Health Services, and AdoptionServices.   So, I see no reason why [redacted] should be disgusted by the sight of these condoms. Other students love them, they are free. It is not mandatory for [redacted] to touch or pick up the condoms. Now, for the sake of courtesy, I am willing to refund to [redacted] the sum of $168.26.  This is how I arrived at this amount.  This CNA class runs for 19 days.  The tuition fee is $900.  Divide $900 by 19 days and the cost for one day is $47.37. Therefore, the cost for the two days of class is $94.74.  $263 minus $94.74 is $168.26.But before, we write a check for this amount, she has to return the textbook that we gave to her.Thank you.

[redacted] registered with $95 for Kash Career College Morning class which started on February 10, 2016.  This class was full and there were people on the waiting list to join this class.  On that February 10th, she paid the first installment fee of $300.  Her tuition balance at...

this stage was $600 for that particular class.  After two days of attendance, she told me that she wanted to drop from that class. I told her that she should realize that if she dropped from that Morning class, the college would lose $600 because nobody could join the class which already started.  She said that she understood but due to her present predicament she could not continue. She begged to come back and join the Evening class which would start on February 29, 2016. I took pity on her, and I told her that I would move her to the Evening class which she was requesting.  At the same time, I told her that I cannot move her again; and that she must have to finish the program with the Evening class. On February 29th, the Evening class started.  [redacted] was part of that class.  After five days in this class, [redacted] came to me and said that she might be dropping out of the class again in order to visit her father who had a stroke.  I reminded her about our understanding when she dropped the first time.  I told her that the college will not afford to lose $995 this time if she dropped out, and that the college cannot effective put her fully into another class.  The first time she dropped, the college lost $600 and this time the college would lose $995 which altogether will amount to $1595.  I told her that she can only come back to do make-ups on availability basis. I did observe that she was angry at this point but she kept on coming for classes.  Now on the day for her class to try out their sizes for the free uniforms which the college gives to all the students, she had a disagreement with one of my assistants.  She wanted to mismatch her size by taking a small pants and a medium top.  My assistant told her that she could not do that because it would then be difficult to match another student with what she had left behind.  My assistant told her that if she did not do exactly like everybody else in the class, she could leave the uniforms on the table, after all she was not paying for the uniforms.  [redacted] created so much scene at the school that day and she called my assistant so many ugly names.  She said that my assistant told her to leave the college.  There were witnesses who heard what my assistant said.  My assistant did not tell her to leave the college.  My assistant told her to leave the uniforms on the table.  After the class got dismissed that day, [redacted] called me during the night and called me all sorts of names. The following day, her instructor showed me a text message which [redacted] had sent to the instructor in which she threatened my life by saying that she will kill me.  Due to the nature of the text message, her instructor said that she did not want [redacted] any more in her class.  Her instructor was so much afraid of [redacted] that she even showed me other writings that [redacted] wrote in her class papers.  [redacted] called this threat on my life as a joke but who jokes like that.  In criminal justice, this is an assault, an apprehension of fear.  I called the police and the police walked her out of the college. In her complaint, she was quoting how bad the college was portrayed in [redacted].  But she failed to also write that over 95% of those [redacted] reviews were all favorable and excellent towards the college.  In conclusion, you can see from her actions that all she wanted to do was to come to the college and learn something, and then not pay for the knowledge.  All the time she was at the college, she was creating situations whereby she could get her money back.  I will not give [redacted] any money back.  As a matter of fact, she now owes the college $1995 ($600 plus $995).  I also want her to return the textbook which we gave to her.

ANSWER TO [redacted]’S COMPLAINTKash Career College...

(KCC) has graduated many students for the Certified Nurse Assistant Program. For a student to graduate, the student must have to fulfill all the educational and financial obligations.  The educational obligation comprises of 50 hours of lecture and 100 hours of clinical practice.  The financial obligation is that the student pays the tuition fee of $995.In the case of Ms. [redacted], she did not accomplish either the educational or the financial obligations and therefore did not graduate with her classmates.  [redacted] started her program on the 17th day of May, 2014.  Her class graduated on the 19th day of July, 2014. [redacted] finished all the lecture hours, but only completed 28 hours out of the 100 hours of the clinical. Therefore, [redacted] needed 72 clinical hours to complete her educational requirements.  [redacted] also owed $100 to KCC.  Hours/fees needed to graduate                     Hours/fees completed by [redacted]                 What is left to be done50 hours of Lecture                                     50 hours of Lecture                                   Zero100 hours of Clinical                                    28 hours of Clinical                                   72 hours of Clinical$995                                  ...      $100After her class graduated, [redacted] started calling KCC to make arrangement for completing the clinical deficiencies.  [redacted] did 16 hours of make-ups and was given credit for those hours. After that, there was a balance of 56 hours. [redacted] agreed to attend clinical on August 4th and the 5th.  [redacted] failed to attend. Again, [redacted] called and we made arrangements for her to attend clinical on September the 25th, 26th, and the 29th.  [redacted] failed toattend. Again, [redacted] called in October, we also made arrangements and she agreed to attend clinical on October the 6th, 7th, 22nd, and the 23rd.  Again, [redacted] did not attend. On 14th of November, [redacted] called and we agreed that [redacted] will attend clinical on November 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23rd. The following day, the 15th of November, [redacted] called and canceled these latest clinical days. Therefore, on that 15th of November after she told me that she was canceling those dates, I told her that since it is a pattern for her not to attend her arranged clinical days; that before I will schedule her for any more days, she must sign an agreement with me.  [redacted] agreed that she will fulfil any arrangements that we agreed upon.  So, on the 22nd of November, [redacted] came to the school and signed an agreement with me that she will attend the following days. For November, she agreed to attend on the 24th (4pm – 8pm); 25th (4pm – 8pm); 26th (6.30am –3pm), and (4pm – 8pm).  The only day that [redacted] attended was the 26th (4pm- 8pm). For December, she agreed to attend on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and the 11th.  [redacted] did not attend any of these.  So, you can see the pattern.  [redacted] calls the school, the school makes every attempt to accommodate her wishes, and then [redacted] does not do her part.  It is not easy to schedule these make-up dates.  The other students who are doing their make-ups are also affected, and [redacted] knows it.[redacted], in her complaint keeps talking about attending clinical in Folsom.  She is only using this as an excuse for not doing her clinical when she should have done it.  [redacted] refuses to understand how the classes run.  KCC cannot run a class for [redacted] alone.  There must be a certain number of students to make it cost effective to run the class in Folsom.  We have explained that fact to [redacted] several times.  Her classmates did offer her help as regarding the skills that she had to learn; to give her rides when she said that transportation was a problem; her instructor would give her instruction and [redacted] would not follow it.  One particular day, [redacted] went to the clinical site when she was not supposed to be there.  The nursing staff told [redacted] to leave because her instructor was not there to supervise her.  [redacted] refused to leave and said that she would rather stay at the nursing home that night.I do not know what to do with [redacted] right now.  It is not that I do not want [redacted] to finish her CNA program, but she is making itvery difficult for herself, and for the school to continue to work with her.  If she wants to finish her CNA program, I am ready to schedule her if there is room, and then she should attend.  She must have to sign another agreement with me stipulating that this would be the last time I will have to go through this arrangement with her.  Once [redacted] finishes the remaining 52 hours of clinical, and also pays the $100 balance which she owes Kash Career College, she will graduate from the Certified Nurse Assistant Program.  Thank you.[redacted]                                                                                                                Administrator                        Kash Career College.

I am rejecting this response because: As you can clearly see the ink on the date is a differnt color and different writing than the original I submitted. This guy is a complete scam artist and I will be contacting the California Department of Public Health as well as taking him to small claims court if he does not wish to resolve this through the Revdex.com which is in his best interest. I have a completely clear background, have never been arrested or has any issues in 25 years with fraud or the police, so if he wishes to defame my character as well as commit fraud he will be held accountable in the courts. See you in court Mr. [redacted], I'm not one of your students that is scared of court.

I am rejecting this response because: The owner uses abusive and manipulative business tactics. He refused to give me my money back the 3rd day of class which is why I ended up changing into the evening class. I was never satisfied with the program, but due to his refusal to refund my credit card payment, I made a decision to stay with the program instead of losing $450. I was never given an option for a refund and was offered a class change only.  I never tried to leave the class when my father had a stroke (just told him I may be absent, but never was) and other than THAT day he had a stoke, I never missed a class or a test. I also had an A in the class based on test scores. So, for him to act as if I didn't want to finish the program is him just trying to slander my character. Mr. [redacted] intentionally overbooks all of his classes, so to say he lost money because he moved me in class is a lie. The class that I was initially in was already full, so he had to move people regardless. The anger he tries to slander my character with was a result of him taking my money and forcing me to take him to small claims court or lose my money. There was no financial agreement in regards to asking people to leave the program and not returning the money they spent to complete a certification requirement. He also didn't have ANY sort of financial agreement signed until 2 weeks into the class (2 school days before he kicked me out). I paid him February 10th, and was coerced to sign an application form March 10th or 11th. Not having students fill out an application or financial agreement until a month after he was paid for the program shows how coercive and manipulative his business tactics are. He just wants to pocket money as quickly as he can and is nice, until you want your money back or have anything critical to say about his program. I wasn't there to learn, I was there to get certified, and will be doing so with another program. He should not be rewarded for rude and  abusive business tactics. Students have the right to learn in an environment where staff doesn't treat them rude and refuse to refund people who aren't happy with the program. Now he's just creating costs out of thin air which should be fun to explain in court, invisible costs that don't exist?

Review: Well I started attending kash career college in may or june 2014. I was looking for a school for CNA training and came across kash college cause they advertised classes in folsom, ca. Well there were no classes in that city and I still went. Later I had to stop for financial reasons. Came back and paid the portion I owed. The total I paid was between $700.00-$800.00 dollars.I madeistallments, but throughout the whole time mr. kash was extremely rude, like he expected me to already know all. Anyway I came back in Nov 2014 and unfortuanatly left in Dec for transportation issues. On wed the 21st of Jan, I looked online and noticed the school had classes in folsom. I called mr. Kash and apologized for not continuing in Dec, I told him I saw the classes in folsom and asked when can I sign up, ( cause I live here in folsom now), anyway he said there were none til july and no classes in folsom. I said I would call back in july. I did call back that day and started to ask him why was he still advertising classes in folsom when he claimed he did not have any. Then proceded to say to stop calling and that I was bothering him or the school and the teacher, and made a point that I called 2 timam sorry I stopped going two times, but I did pay money and I do want to finish my class. I cant talk to him bout anything. He is just rude and does not let me say anything or ask questions. Also two out of the three times I payed the money or tuition he would not say nothing or answer any questions about the class. If they were not going to have classes in a particular city, they should not advertise on their website and keep there. It is misleading. All I want is to get what I paid for and I feel like they want allow me to. I am ready to finish, especially when I have already basically paid and now live down the street.I just want to finish and let mr kash know that the way he speaks to people is very important. The school should take time and listen to their students conserns and questions, not to shut them up.Desired Settlement: Just to finish what I started. And this time I will finish, so that I dont waste my money I paid. Especialy if they have clinical classes where they advertise.

ANSWER TO [redacted]’S COMPLAINTKash Career College (KCC) has graduated many students for the Certified Nurse Assistant Program. Hours/fees needed to graduate Hours/fees completed by [redacted] What is left to be done50 hours of Lecture 50 hours of Lecture Zero100 hours of Clinical 28 hours of Clinical 72 hours of Clinical$995 $895 $100After her class graduated, [redacted] started calling KCC to make arrangement for completing the clinical deficiencies.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I do want to finish and will. I will go this week and make arrangements. I feel like mr. Lash is talking down to me, like he has in the past, I will contact your office. He made me out to be the bad guy to yall, but that's ok, he doesn't understand that life happens. And for the folsom classes, he should not advertise classes there, if there are none.

Review: Was kicked out of Kash Career College by [redacted] after having multiple verbal altercations with him as well as his assistant. Used a common expression as a joke in an email to my instructor apologizing for the altercation with the owner/assistant who decided to escalate the matter into a physical threat. Instead of asking me to leave, he allowed me to sit in class for 2 1/2 hours and then called the police and tried to have me arrested and physically removed over a joke made in an email. The police officer did not comply and just mediated the situation and we decided it was best for me to leave. He thinks he has the right to pocket $395 dollars for my attendance, but he does not. The hours and work put into the program are void the second he asked me to leave. The credit hours for the program are nontransferable, so if he doesn't allow me to complete the program, it is as if I never attended in the first place. You don't go to Career College to "gain knowledge" you go to Career College to obtain progress towards getting certified, and because I was asked to leave the program, I have no progress to show for. He has no right to keep a person's money if he will not allow them to complete his program. Other students reported to [redacted] they had very similar experiences as I did.

Student A stated on [redacted] on 9/30/2015:

I am so disappointed with my experience at Kash Career College. I passed the state exam because I worked my butt off to do so, not because I was properly trained. I surely would not recommend this school to anyone. Instructors and staff (especially Mrs. [redacted]) have been very rude, intimidating, unprofessional, inappropriate and consistently disrespectful. There's a big difference between being direct and strict and downright hateful and mean. The facility is also outdated and unclean which is another deterrent and distraction for students attempting to enhance their skill sets.Desired Settlement: I did pay $95 (non refundable) as well as a $42 fee for fingerprinting (non refundable). I do not expect him to pay me back for fees he stated were nonrefundable. The payment I made for $300 on February 10th 2016 should be returned to me due to the fact that all time associated with the program was void when he asked me to leave. He should not keep fees that I have to repay to another program to start from the beginning. You can't kick people out of your school and keep their money.

[redacted] registered with $95 for Kash Career College Morning class which started on February 10, 2016. This class was full and there were people on the waiting list to join this class. On that February 10th, she paid the first installment fee of $300. Her tuition balance at this stage was $600 for that particular class.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: The owner uses abusive and manipulative business tactics. He refused to give me my money back the 3rd day of class which is why I ended up changing into the evening class. I was never satisfied with the program, but due to his refusal to refund my credit card payment, I made a decision to stay with the program instead of losing $450. I was never given an option for a refund and was offered a class change only. I never tried to leave the class when my father had a stroke (just told him I may be absent, but never was) and other than THAT day he had a stoke, I never missed a class or a test. I stand by my first response to this complaint. I have attached the application form which she signed. The refund policy is directly on top of her signature. Every statement in her response is false. I am ready to go to court with Heather on this matter.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: As you can clearly see the ink on the date is a differnt color and different writing than the original I submitted. This guy is a complete scam artist and I will be contacting the California Department of Public Health as well as taking him to small claims court if he does not wish to resolve this through the Revdex.com which is in his best interest. I have a completely clear background, have never been arrested or has any issues in 25 years with fraud or the police, so if he wishes to defame my character as well as commit fraud he will be held accountable in the courts. See you in court Mr. [redacted], I'm not one of your students that is scared of court.

Review: I went to a college in Sacramento called Kash Career College and I only attended for two days because I was not fully informed on what the class was about and after those two days I wanted my money back because it was not what I thought. Then the owner Mr. [redacted] was a pervert he asked me for two hugs, the first one I thought he was just being friendly and then he asked for another hug and he kissed me on my forehead and I seen a box of condoms under his desk. I felt disgusted and sexually harrassed and it made me also not want to go to his school anymore so I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like for my money back and I would like for his business to be shut down and he needs to go to jail because he is a pedophile and he takes advantage of his position and I am sure I'm not the only girl he has acted this way with. He took my money and the class was not what I thought it would be. It was for nursing assistant (CNA) and I thought it was for medical assistant (CMA) and he led me to believe it was for medical assisting. He gave me no papers or forms.

Business

Response:

[redacted] registered at Kash Career College for the Certified Nurse Assistant Program (CNA). I explained to her what the requirements arefor her to go through the CNA program. She understood everything that we talked about. I told her that the cost for the CNA program was only $995 and the duration is 19 days.
