Kash Chandani and Company CPAs

Review: I have SO many issues with Kash. We paid monthly fee for the book keeping for the companies, however, he hadn't provided me with 2013 P&L statements, year end balances, or any required figures, needed for filing tax returns. He didn't prepare or file tax returns on time for 2013, he however filed extensions which was NOT requested. I need this information so that I can move ahead with my business and personal life. I asked Kash to look after a tax issue from 2008, gave him some initial documentation in November 2013 and a check for $3,500 to look after this issue, I further sent bank statements, credit card year end summaries, boarding passes, hotel receipts, etc for this time period. After many requests about the status of the 2008 issue, I finally received an email in March 2014 requesting more general information. It was a standard request for information to buy more time. I replied to that email immediately, however, a month later I just received the same email back. I felt unsafe him having my personal documents, credit card and bank statements etc. I subsequently asked some else to look into this issue, they supplied me with all the necessary transcripts, figures, and asked me to supply him with the exact information that I'd given Kash to look after this issue. He did this in less than a week and has spoken to the IRS on many occasions, having them put a hold on sending my case to collections which they were about to do as there had been no response. Kash told me he spoke to the IRS, however, why would they be sending this to collections if he had? I'd requested that Kash release all my personal documents that he had in possession to the person working on the 2008 issue, he however wouldn't release them and personally slandered me to this person. Very unprofessional. I went to his office & demanded my personal documents back, they tried to send me away and come back another time, I however demanded them & had to wait close to 2 hours to get most of them. He also overcharged. Out of space.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $3,500 paid for the 2008 issue, plus interest. Compensation for his intentional hinderance to conduct business and personal advancement due to the fact that he would not supply me with P&L statements etc, which were paid for and not supplied and for not releasing my personal documents in a timely professional manner. He has hindered my business progress for over 3 months. This is unethical and unprofessional. He also has tried to charge more than 3 times what other CPA's charge.
