Kason Credit Corporation

Review: Kason Credit is reporting a $50 collection on my [redacted] credit report. I sent them a certified letter on 03-06-13 requesting they validate the debt per FCRA they have not responded to me. I have never received any correspondence from them regarding this debt.

We received a letter from [redacted] asking for a itemized bill and he also stated that he will pay in full if we take it off the credit bureau we agreed and he paid it and we removed from the credit bureau.

Had an account with Kason for almost a year and the agent was actually very helping and understanding through out the entire process. I over payed since my insurance ended up taking care of it and the agent told me I could get the the extra money back from the company I originally owed.

Review: When I went to check my credit last month, I was surprised to find a collections on my report from Kason Credit of Enfield, CT. The bill in question was for a doctor's visit to the West Hartford office of Hartford Medical Group.I had never been contacted by Kason regarding this bill. The company simply reported this to two credit bureaus and left it up to me to discover this fact.When I luckily did find this, I promptly called the office and paid the bill via my debit card. The transaction finally cleared on May 22. I was told that as soon as I paid, the company would report back to the credit bureaus. However, upon checking back with Kason last week, I was told that they still had not gotten around to doing their "end-of-the-month" updates. I asked them to please expedite the issue if at all possible. I called back today, June 3, at roughly 3:30pm to verify that they had finally reported payment to the credit bureaus. Unfortunately, I was told that they still had not done their "end-of-the-month" updates, which makes no sense, since it was no longer May. I asked if I could speak to whoever was in charge of this, and I was told that they had already left for the day -- at 3:30pm.It really seems to me that Kason Credit is hardly a reputable business. I am unsure of how they secured the business of Hartford Medical Group, but I would like a copy of this report sent to them as well, so that they might know what kind of business they are dealing with.

I would like Kason Credit to report back to the credit bureaus that this account has been paid. I would also like if they could contact people about debts rather than simply reporting them to the credit bureaus. I would also like the credit bureaus and Hartford Medical Group to know about Kason's horrible business practices.

[redacted] credit bureau has been fixed and I spoke to him to let him know. He said he did see that it was fixed
