We purchased our town home in September while it was still being built. The sales team was very accomodating and did everything to make the process of purchasing the house smooth. We went with Jayman because the salesman sold us on the soundproof party walls. I have lived in 3 different town homes since 2008, and never had an issue with sound from the neighbours so we thought this place would be even better. Needless to say, we were very excited to move into our new home. We did our walkthrough the week before we got our keys, had a few minor cosmetic fixes noted and came back a week later. We finally moved in the second week of December. Everything we had noted on the walkthrough had been fixed and everything was going great. That is, until, we heard the neighbours. We heard them going up and down the stairs, closing doors inside and outside the house, coming and going, we could even hear their small child crying. We asked them to keep it down, and they have been trying, but we still hear them, even when they're simply walking around upstairs. We brought it up with the salesman first, and he simply said it was built to code. It was pretty obvious he wasn't willing to help at all, he already got his commission. We then brought it up with the building superintendent, he came in and listened, and attributed it to their lifestyle, blaming it on their children. The only problem with that was that we could also hear our neighbours on the opposite side and there are only two of them with no kids. My sister-in-law bought one of the units in the same complex, and she complains about the same things, hearing footsteps, voices, the TV through walls. And her neighbours also don't have any kids. Considering the main reason we went with Jayman was because they talked up these soundproof walls so much, you would expect them to at least filter out some of the sound, but it often sounds like the sounds are coming from inside our own unit. Like I said, this is the fourth townhouse I've lived in since 2008, before that was a small apartment that I thought was loud, but this place is by far the loudest I've lived in so far, which is pretty bad because it's brand new. Another smaller issue was that there were a few nails pounded through the stairs and were hidden by the carpet until my foot found them, but I would gladly walk up a hundred spiky stairs if it meant that our home would be quiet. I would have given a rating of 0, but they have been pretty quick to get smaller issues in the house fixed as we have brought them up., and the unit itself is actually very nice on the inside. It's just too bad they skimped out on the one thing that you would hope they wouldn't in a multi family home. We will most likely be selling this place as soon as we can and taking a financial hit in the process, but for the stress we're constantly going through just from having neighbours walking around in their own home, it will be well worth it. So in closing, I would not recommend Jayman to anyone, and I would go so far as to discourage anyone buying a townhome from them in the future.

I am here to appreciate Jayman Service Team's excellent service. I built a house in Auburn Bay with Jayman and moved in Mar 2015. It is close to one year due. Today , Feb 19, Jayman set up year end service. Peter from Jayman came in on time and did perfect job and moreover he was showing me how to fix something by my self. It very benefits to my wallets in the long run. For some job that weather does not allow to do now, he explained when to do in a very polite manner. Also he provided info that I can make my home even better. Contractors came in and did good job, too. Actually whenever I called for service to fix something in the past year, Peter always did his best to get the issues solved as quick as possible. Thumb up to Jayman Service Team.
