This is a horrible management company they will steal your money not accept rent and evict youThe property manager doesn't fix anything he has a drug problem and is very rudeThey discriminate against service animals, claim they want to help you not be evicted but won't allow you to payDONT RENT FROM THEM

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to respond to this complaint. As far as the bed bugs are concerned, the company with which we contract to treat bed bugs does an initial treatment and then a follow up treatment weeks later. I'm not sure if this is what she was
referring to, but the treatment schedule is based on the guidelines of the extermination company and they may have been in the week waiting period before they could administer the second treatment at the time when they moved in
Secondarily, I have reviewed this tenant's ledger and have also retrieved copies of all money orders we have received from this tenant. According to our records, there was a partial payment made in February of for $which we received on 2/11/14. On the 6th day of every month, if we have not received payment in full, including payment of any previous balances owed, the tenant is charged a late fee of $30. Therefore the tenant had the rent due of $plus a $late fee which brought the total amount due in February to $550. Accounting for the $payment, that brought the tenant's balance to $210. The tenant has since made monthly payments of $525, but each month since has been charged a late fee of $since there is still an outstanding balance from February. This amount has now accumulated to $300, which is still owed at this time. I would be happy to make an appointment with the tenant to sit down with the copies of the money orders and their ledger to go through everything with them as there seems to be some confusion. It is also company policy that every tenant with an outstanding balance on the 6th of each month be served a day notice to pay or quit in the event that we need to start the eviction process
I will contact the tenant to set up a meeting to see if we can get this issue resolved

Since my husband I moved in March of 2016, we have had problems with our apartment and still nothing has been fixed in our apartmentWhen we call to have someone come out and fix it, no one comes and we get a day eviction letterWe first moved in, they did not give us the key to enter the buildingWe did not do a walk thru with the apartment manager Chad at the timeWhen we signed our lease he said it wasn't completely done and they still had a few things to doSince then nothing has been fixedSince they had another apartment manager Mike, he came once in May with one of the maintenance guys and started to work on our outlet in our living room that was coming out of the wall and said will be back the next day or so to fix it, it has now been almost months since they have last been in the apartmentIn June one of the maintenance workers left a note on my door saying they had missed us and would be out the next day between a certain time, I was home all day the day they left

If you are unfortunate enough to live in one of their communities then you are familiar with the word tenementKassel Management took over my apartment complex around three years ago and it has been in a constant state of decline sinceThey made "improvements" such as building us new stairwellsAfter completed we had no walkways from the stairs to the front or back of the buildings and were forced to walk through the mud, the snow, the inches of water in order to get out of our buildingThe stairwells had no lights for a couple of years, so we had to go up and down flights of stairs in complete darknessThe parking lot is full of potholes and they refuse to repair itInstead, they keep dumping rocks and dirt into the holesFurnace filters have not been changed since they took over, which greatly increases the chance for a massive fire to break out hereConstruction work is done without any noticeThey rent to anyone who has money, which has brought a huge increase of drug dealers into this community, who do their drugs in the courtyard, the parking lot, wherever they please, and who walk around the property proudly displaying their gunsI have informed Kassel Management I will not renew my lease and will never rent from them, and if you read this I would suggest you move on to the next rental companyUnless you like everything I said, which in that case this is the company for you

comment "tenant no longer wants items addressed" as a comment.  Kassel Management has instructed the on-site leasing agent to contact the tenant and create work orders for any items which may need completed.  Additionally, maintenance has been instructed to respond to the work orders promptly. A professional rodent exterminator had already been consulted and has visited the building.  Based on their finding, Kassel Management had already taken action to resolve the mouse problem before this complaint was lodged.

We have always dispatched maintenance technicians within 24 hours of any maintenance request. On two separate occasions you have denied entry to our maintenance technician during normal business hours. You have been issued a 3 day notice do to non payment of rent, you are currently 45 days...

delinquent. After receiving this complaint I advised Mike, the property manager to contact you and attempt to schedule requested repairs again. Most of the work was completed Tuesday, August 10 & we will return today August 11 with the remaining materials needed to complete all repairs. In the future please put in a work order and schedule a date & time for the maintenance technicians to enter.
