STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. I HAD TRIED NOT TO WRITE ANY REVIEWS BUT MARK IS CLEARLY A FRAUD AND OUT TO FOOL PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY. I HAD ENOUGH RED FLAGS THAT I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO FROM EARLIER. TOOK 2 MONTHS TO PAINT MY HOUSE DOING A HORRIBLE JOB WITH FINISH. RIPPED ME OUT ON PORCH AND DECK BUILD. WENT WITH LUMBAR INSTEAD OF COMPOSITE AS AGREED UPON. AND NOT LESS THAN 6 MONTHS LATER WHOLE THING IS COMING APART. HE ALSO TOOK CONTRACT TO MOW MY YARD AND TOOK ALL MONEY IN ADVANCE AND DISAPPEARED. HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE AGAIN TO MOW THROUHGOUT REST OF THE YEAR. HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY DO THE MOST HORRIBLE JOB POSSIBLE AND HE WILL STOP ANSWERING YOUR CALLS. I GAVE HIM CONTRACT FOR 34K AND THIS WAS MY HARD-EARNED MONEY. I AM A MIDDLE CLASS GUY WITH FAMILY AND I HATE SUCH FRAUDS WHO TRY TO SHOW THEY ARE SO HONEST.

PLEASE JUST BE SMARTER THAN I WAS AND STAY AWAY.

KI Preservations has completed a few projects for us. One deck build in Franklinton and another Remodel for an investment property for us in Durham. *** and his crew did a great job on both projects. The deck had a few bumps in the road due to a few code items, but he took care of them quickly. The remodel was done perfectly. It was a huge job and they took care of everything perfectly. They listened to our concerns when we had them and corrected any issues that we saw. Upon completing our attic room space they informed us that it needed insulation and did it at no charge. Then there was a flooring issue where he called around and was quoted from other subs 600-2000 to repair and *** found a resolution and fixed it at no charge. The overall cost of the project was in excess of$ 40,000. We will definitely keep using KI for all our future investment projects. His workers were great, especially ***, and his subs did quality work as well. We are very pleased at the work and craftsmanship of KI Preservations.

We had a full master bath remodel done. It was finished Aug 2019. *** does not pay his subs. We received a letter from the lawyer of the plumbers and had to pay them before they put a lien on our house. A week after the job was finally done, the electrician came to our house and told us he was going to start the process of putting a lien on our house because he had not been paid. The total for all the work done in our house was around $50,000. He only owed the plumbers $1400 and the electrician $1800. It has been a month since the electrician told us he had not been paid and *** has still not paid. The work that the subs did was great, but the work that *** did is not great. He is not good at tile work. The tiles in our shower especially the accent strip are broken, and scratched and uneven.

Hired company to repair progressing siding damage due to poor previous repair from swindler. Received pretty decent quote to repair siding and I added repair of rotted window sills and ledges. They quoted me and added entire home painting all for $5000 regardless of the amount of siding replaced. I have Masonite/wood siding (he called it something else). I would definitely recommend them. My house looks brand new.
