Information:
Hello, My name is [redacted], CEO of Kat Productions and Travel Agency. I'm written in regards to the complaint you have received from a potential consumer of ours. [redacted], contacted me on February 19, 2014 after seeing our post on [redacted] of our yearly ALL STAR WEEKEND event posted on February 18, 2014. On, February 19, 2014, [redacted] was excited about attending this event for February 13-16, 2015 and immediately made her deposit of $100 (credit card) which is non-refundable. At this time, I did inform her of our disclaimer and stipulations. Which are the following: all deposits are non-refundable, monthly payments are due and if not there would be a $25 late fee, $75 cancellation fee up to 45 days before the event. [redacted] stated she understood and made monthly payments as of the following $103.00 2/19/14, $157.08 3/10/14, $154.50 4/10/14, $157.08 5/28/14 and $159.65 6/20. On top of everything [redacted] posted and promoted our event on her page and publically. On January 7, 2015, January 21, 2015 and January 28, 2015 [redacted] asked for an official itinerary at this time I had informed her due to us signing legal contracts on the inside I would present it to her once I received it, but if she could convert back to the initial itinerary which is our package in which she paid for. She then stated she wanted to make sure there was no problems, and that she wanted to get her wardrobe outfits lined up. I reassured her that we was staying at the [redacted] on [redacted], and that everything was as is in the package. Then on, January 28, 2015 she then requested a full refund. I explained to her at this time there was no refund at this time and that the event was already paid in full, but after carefully thinking about it, I noticed that she was upset and decided to refund her back $535 within 30 days. [redacted] then started to threaten me, stated that she wanted $610 before February 12, 2015 or she would contact the Revdex.com, my human resources at my employment, publically slander my name and business on [redacted] and others and take me to small claims court. On Jan, 30, 2015 [redacted] started making threats on [redacted], at this time I had to contact my attorney whom then told me to go the police, whom told me to delete and block her off of my page. My Attorney [redacted] gave me a consult as to write her a letter offering her again the $535 with a disclaimer of her to stop the threats and publically slandering my name under defamation of character or there will be legal action taken. I then wrote this letter, on February 8, 2015 and had it notarized, and mailed to her certified with a returned address letter enclosed with a check for $535. I also went to the police on Feb. 8, 2015 because the threats on [redacted] were now life threaten. Then on February 12, 2015 [redacted] posted pictures of her in [redacted] at the event with another company or with friends. On February 13, 2015, [redacted] also, posted pictures of my logo and government name on [redacted], along with threats that she was taking me to small claims court and slander my name and business all over [redacted]. Stating that I was fraud, a scam artist and altered our texts and posted them on [redacted]. I had no knowledge of this until my clients sent me pictures of this and I contacted my bank on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 and stop payment on the check and immediately contacted my attorney. As of yesterday February 17, 2015 I received your letter stating a complaint against me, and noticed the date to be February 8, 2015. Per her comment on [redacted] she was upset that I called the police on her. So, I'm sure [redacted] contacted your office once the police officers left her residence. At this time, I have contacted my attorney again and was informed to wait for your decision on this matter. I look forward in hearing back from you. My contact number is [redacted].
