We had an older furnace and AC, so we decided to have Airco come have a look and give us a bid by filling out a form at the Home and Garden Show We never heard anything from them, so I sent an e-mail and Rick [redacted] responded and offered to come have a look He spent time looking things over and gave us several options, explained everything thoroughly, and was quite confident that they could fix our problem with a cold downstairs and a hot upstairsBenji and his crew showed up the following week and, despite the fact the job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, they kept going, even staying until after 5:p.mto finish up and make sure our gas logs downstairs were back on and functioning properly So far the new unit is heating the house much better than the old, but we still have a problem with the downstairs being bit cool, which Benji said they would be happy to come back and address Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to answer our questions (no matter how stupid) and listen to what we were trying to accomplish We would definitely recommend Airco and plan to use them for other plumbing and electrical projects in the future

My year old AC unit was not cooling the houseI called Airco Services IncSince they are listed as a licensed Lennox dealerMy unit is under Lennox warrantyTwo Technician came they looked at the Unit and informed that the unit was leaking from the locking caps and that they needed to clean the unitThe said that they repaired the freon leak, recharged the system, and tested the unit to ensure that it was working correctlyThey charged me $for their serviceThe next day comes and the unit is not cooling the house, so I called them backA technician arrives and after inspection, he notices that there is no freon and that there might be a leak elsewhereHe removed the top (did this only on the second visit) and with out looking for the leak informs me that it's the condenser coil that needs to be replaced since he sees some oil resudu around the copper lines in the coilHe tells me that because the unit is under warranty I should not worry and they will call the next day to schedule a time to come and replace the partThe next day I called to inquire about the parts and they informed me that it will cost an additional $(total of $1000) to replace the part that is covered under warrantyThe additional $will cover labor and freonWhen I informed them that the price seemed too high they informed me that that was the cost and that they could not go any lowerI called another company to come and estimate the cost and they were puzzled by the outrageous cost of $to replace the parts that are covered under warrantyThe new company ended up replacing the condenser unit, condenser coil for a fraction of the cost that Airco Service Incwas changingThe only good thing about these experience is that Airco Service Increfunded me the $that they had originally charge me

I am so confident with this company that I will call them for any heat/air, plumbing, sewer, or electrical need I have in the future! This statement is regarding the Oklahoma City location of Airco Services Our sewer line for the house was damaged, causing sewage to back up into the house and making our home uninhabitable We contacted the company to have them repair the damage The workers they sent out dug enough to find damage and explained that it might have been damaged by the gas company putting in lines, but they couldn't say definitely I told them to contact my husband and explain this to him My husband was to call our insurance company and see if the damage could be covered by our homeowner's policy The plumber never called my husband and by the time my husband was able to stop by the house, they had already dug too far for an adjuster to be able to assess the damage to see if we would be able to file a claim I had explained to the plumber when he came out previously to give an estimate that we had notified our insurance company and intended to see if a claim could be filed When we were given t

I called for a technician to perform a tune up and check because my A/C unit had froze up the week before, the person that came out was at my home for 1/hours supposedly checking out the unit and then outside in his van for a long time, told me that my unit needed a part but even if it wasn't replaced the unit will still run but not as efficiently After he left we noticed that he scraped off the product label on the outside unit - strange...Later that afternoon he called back with a quote of $700+, I felt very uneasy that the small valve would cost that much (and that he scraped the label off) so I called my brother who is an A/C tech in Houston and was immediately told I was being quoted too much so I never called Airco Service back and to make matters worse my unit froze up in less than hours so I was without A/C for almost day as I worked to find a more reliable company The company that came out said that my unit was about pound low in freon and he filled it, he says there was no problem with the valve that Airco Service was trying to sell me and has agreed to come back to again check for a leak and make sure there are no other issues at no charge I believe Airco Service was trying to rip me off at the hottest time of the season! I would not recommend anyone to use this company for anything related to air conditioning
