We contacted Ms*** *** and discussed this complaint explaining that she had only purchased an extended
service contract in the amount of $2,from Mossy NissanAccording to the signed paperwork, *** which covers additional items, was offered but not purchasedThe paperwork which the customer has referenced below are presentation menus, and were not the final contract which was agreed to and singed by both sidesMs*** is in possession of those signed paperwork, but still maintained that she had different understandingCustomer has since moved out of townWe gave Ms*** two options in an attempt to resolve this matterShe wanted to speak with her husband and get back to usWe haven’t heard back from her since our last phone conversationMs*** could contact our GM or Finance Director for the final resolution to this matterSincerely,

Based on our diagnosis, there was coolant present in the cylinders which could have potentially caused the spark plugs to misfire and trigger the PcodeWe believe that
replacing the spark plugs alone may be a temporary fix and the problem may return in the futureWe have also addressed the offer to purchase of this vehicle with the employee involved as this was against our company policy

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI do not want a response from the Management @ Mossy Nissan National City, I would like to receive a personal phone call from Nissan Regional office in regards to my complaint. I do not agree with the response I got because any vehicle that has coolant in their engine would probaably not be running or would be having major issues while it drives. There is nothing wrong with my vehicle so Mossy Nissan in National City need to recognize that some of their employees are not performing the right diagnosis on customers vehicles that way they profit themselves. Not performing the right diagnosis and immediately trying to buy my vehicle cash for $is a clear indication on what the management from National City is allowing their people to do.

We have met with *** and resolved the issue by authorizing the repairs to be performed on his vehiclethe vehicle was dropped off on 7/25/2016 and will be repaired within the next few days

I did leave a message with the customer regarding the partin question , Customer contacted me after a few days and I offered to take care of any issues Customer had purchased the
part elsewhere, and I offered on his next order to contact me personally ..

your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This business failed to address my concerns regarding the issue at hand. I was contacted by their service department manager which led to no resolution. He has stated that I have waited too long to bring the issue to his attention for it to be addressed. We went back and forth stating our thoughts and viewpoints on the matter. At the end of the day, nothing was offered by him and I am still left with a brake job that was not needed. I will never step foot into this dealership or its affilliated partners and will ensure that none of my family nor friends give them any type of business. I would like my experience posted in order to shed light as an example of this company's unethical business practices.

At the time of transaction, customers give us their trade payoff’s. Mossy Nissan verifies these pay off amounts the following business day....

This is authorized by customers and is needed in order for us to pay off these vehicles and send a notice of release of liability to DMV. The purchased contract signed by the customer and dealer has a paragraph that clearly explains the “Trade-In Payoff Agreement”. The call was placed as a courtesy since the payment due date would have arrived prior to the actual pay off date. In some cases customers receive surprise calls from their lenders notifying them their payments are past due. If the customers pay any additional amount, that amount will be refunded to them as per “Trade-in Payoff Agreement” clause.

[I do no not accept. The dealership was aware of my situation. As of Aug-19 I only received the email (letter attached) approval. The car at the time was getting a new transmission for the second time they were telling me that I needed to pick up the car and return the courtesy car , on Aug 25 I sent the GROUP & dealership  when I told them I would be submitting a complaint to the Revdex.com and the service manager was cc. About 30 min later the letter was sent on the replacement value.  On Aug-28 the service department MADE me go pickup the car knowing that it was not safe. They had the letter and they still made me pick it up. From then there were weekly emails sent to the Group and nothing. Finally on Sept. 24 (email attached) when I coped the GM and all people involved and complaint to the Revdex.com the Group sent an email the following day saying sorry for the delay and the letter (attached) dated Sept 16-2014 with the repurchase value. I then again sent the new payoff since I had to make another car payment.  Again I do not know who is responsible for what. I went on Sept 19 and returned the FIAT with both set of Keys. The question to me was why I waited so long to return the vehicle, again the service manager knew about the letter and said nothing to me to leave the vehicle as of Aug 17 or the 28th of August. I never used the car until a month later when I returned it.  I called today and left a message to the Group and I still do not have the repurchase value. The acutal question becomes why do they take so long it does not take days or months to come up with a value!  ]

We believe this vehicle had a slow leak caused by a pin hole before it arrived at our facility, and we are willing to offer...

the customer a goodwill complimentary oil change on their next visit. We appreciate this customer’s loyalty and regret the inconvenience this may have caused.
