Review: On January 16, 2014, I paid for a ticket for my daughter, [redacted], to attend the Katsucon Convention, organized by Katsucon Entertainment Inc., in the sum of $65.00 (Order #: [redacted] ). I have an email and receipt to that effect sent to my daughter on January 16, 2014. This event occurred at the [redacted] Resort & Convention Center [redacted], MD [redacted], from February 14-16, 2014. My daughter arrived at the convention on the morning of February 15, 2014, and, as directed, stood in a line designated for those who had pre-registered for the event to be admitted to the event. After more than two hours in this line with no indication that she was ever going to be admitted, she moved to the line for individuals registering on-site and paid to be admitted.

Several weeks later, after much effort, I finally located an official of Katsucon Entertainment Inc. who had managed the registration process for the Katsucon Convention and requested a refund of the amount paid for the convention since Katsucon was unable to provide my daughter the admission to the event for which I had been charged and for which the company had contracted. Besides being extremely rude, she refused to refund the charge and questioned what would happen if others in the same situation had also requested a refund.Desired Settlement: Check, cash or credit card refund in the sum of $65.00

Review: I arrived to Katsucon on Friday and stood in the pre-registration line. The line was fairly long but because I have a knee and shoulder condition that requires physical therapy Im not supposed to stand for more than an hour. So I spent more than an hour in the line the first time and left to sit down and take a break from standing because I was feeling some pain. When I came back to try the line a second time, after the hour I approached a staff member and let him know of my medical condition and that I could not stand and he told me that there was nothing he could do and no other options for me and that I'd have to stand in the line, even though I was physically unable to stand for more than an hour. He said that if I had to leave and couldn't get my badge because I couldn't stand, that I should contact the people who run the convention because it wasn't his job and he was "just security." After scooting through the almost 4 hour line, and finally getting my badge I had missed 3 panels I was interested in and was in so much pain that I spent the rest of the night in my hotel room. When I finally felt better Saturday morning I went to the Geek Comedy Tour Panel. The panel went fine until I was singled-out for not yelling out questions to ask and was chosen to ask a question by the female panelist. One of the other attendees in the panel didn't like the question I asked and yelled out rude remarks like "LAME!" and "Whyd you ask that question." The panelists did nothing to correct this rude behavior. If the panelists themselves are not going to ensure that their panels are a safe place where everyone is at least respectful of one another, then they shouldn't be allowed to run a panel. After that incident combined with still feeling pain from the previous day I left the convention early.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for this event. Policies were not followed, there were not allowanced for those with medical conditions and the amount of disorganization and chaos made the convention experience terrible.
