I must say for our child, she attended years of Pre-K (December birthday) and we never had a moment's concern She is an only child, not used to other kids and had never been in a daycare/school settingThe staff treated her as family and shared in her triumphs and successesWe met with the teacher at least twice a month just to make sure nothing was amiss, and if something did happen (didn't eat lunch or eat enough; soiled clothes, etc), we had letters/notes left for us in her backpackWe received timely emails regarding special functions, events, and reminders about tuition My child went from barely speaking to almost constant speaking! She learned basic Spanish and Mandarin Chinese! She has tested at a 1st grade level in reading and math She was truly happy at Katy GT, and it broke our hearts that she had to leave to go to kindergartenAs a mom of only one child and all the jitters that come with it, I recommend this school for any child We will be enrolling her into the holiday camps and summer school sessions I encourage any parent to go to this school to set up a time to interview them and tour the facilityIt isn't as fancy as other Montessori schools, but it is a place where any child can grow and learn in a loving, supportive environment
