The rental agreement is between myself and the owner of the property but KPM is the owners designated agent. Although it may be the owners decision KPM is the one withholding the funds. Therefore both parties are yo be he for violations of the law concerning the funds of my security deposit. We will be filing against both the owner and KPM for the remaing deposit and additional compensation as allowed by the Texas law.

The charges on the itemization will stand. The house was in horrible shape compared...

to how the tenant was given the home, which is noted on the Inventory and Condition form that the tenant filled out upon move in.
The owner has to pay above and beyond what was charged to the tenant for paint, carpets, and repairs throughout the home. The tenant was only charged what he was responsible for. Over 500 photos can be provided
upon request.

I reject this as the deposit was paid to and withheld by Katy Property Management. I have been communicating with them directly, not the owner of the property.
