Review: In December 2014 I hired Katz Moving to move my apartment items into storage. Three young men came and spent time shrink wrapping most of my items before putting them onto the truck. They seemed unsure of how to shrink wrap properly but they were pleasant and all seemed okay. I had no way of watching every single step they took.

The storage room was large and very modern, with nothing protruding or hanging in the way. It was never entered once until the day I moved out, in June 2015. At that time the new movers noticed that 2 items were damaged. They took photos immediately, inside of the storage unit before even touching the items.

* First, the mattress was pierced with a "slit"; the mattress had been perfect prior to that

* Second, the leg on an antique wooden dresser was completely broken

When I sent Katz Moving the complaint with photos. I received the following reply:

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Katz Moving caused this damage. I'm shocked that they would so boldly deny this. I have PHOTOS THAT WERE TAKEN INSIDE OF THE STORAGE UNIT, BEFORE EVEN BEING TOUCHED.Desired Settlement: Refund the cost of my mattress and antique dresser, which cannot be repaired
