I ordered over $100 of food for a birthday delivery. The portions were ridiculously small. A real ripoff. I wrote a complaint letter and said that I would not be ordering from Katz again. Customer service wrote back with a lame apology and said that if I wanted to order again, they’d be happy to take my order. Huh?

Review: On November **, 2013 I purchased a tee shirt from Katz deli in NYC. The female employee, who seemed preoccupied with everything but her job, initially rang in the wrong shirt which was 30.00. I had purchased a 20.00 tee so she billed me for that and according to her credited my card for the 30.00 incorrect charge. The reciept # on the 30.00 charge was Ab7l and the reciept # on the 20.00 charge was M9jd. It has now been 10 days and the 30.00 charge has still not been credited to my account. I have sent several Emails and attempted to call someone however no one answers? It is the retail store attached to the Deli and the Deli employees have no clue, and or are willing to help with the retail store not answering the phone. I find it unacceptable that I have unable to simply talk to someone in order to get this issue resolved. This is a company that is a NYC icon and I think that if someone in charge knew about this lack of concern or action it would be addressed immediately. I just want my 30.00 that I am due. Sincerely. Review: will not be returning to Katz Deli --- EVER!! They treated us like criminals after they failed to give us 2 blue tickets (as per their rules) to order food then embarrass us when we went to pay for our 1 $20 pastrami sandwich- stating that we were suppose to return the unused ticket (that was never given to us) and then called the manager and the person whom made our sandwich and made me check and recheck our pockets and pocketbook. Also wanted to know where we sat and ate,,, We ordered our 1 sandwich TO GO - then THREATENED us with a $50 fine for failure to return the ticket.... This all in front or my 9 year old son & a room full of customers. I really thought that they were going to call the police.Desired Settlement: apology and to be reimbursed for the $20 sandwich + $$ for aggravation & embarrassment.
