We had an excellent experience with Spotsylvania Construction The crew was on time every day and courteousThe bid and charges were very competetive for the work performedThey were also very attentive to any issues raised during construction This was a remodel of an older home so there were several "surprises" when walls were opened But they handled the problems well and we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price The work was on time and on budget I especially appreciated the quality of the workAlso note that the owner has a zero tolerance for cussing on the job siteIf you have small children or find cussing offensive you will really appreciate that policy We have already recommended them to our neighbors This was an A+ experience
No response to shoddy craftsmanshipThe homes are pretty but quality of work is lackingLittle to no response on punch out listsAll contact is one sided and has to be initiated by the homeownerI would recommend anyone considering buying one of there homes to contact me and come by to see one months after move inWe were left without water for close to a week by the builder because company he uses was unavailable and he refused to call another company so it didn't cost him $$$

All of our dealings with Spotsylvania Construction Inchave been more than pleasant We found our new home listed just after it's construction was completed During our initial walk through we were very taken by the quality of craftsmanship put into the house, after we finished looking we wrote the contractAfter doing so we had some questions develop, and requested a meeting at the home with the builder himself, MrC*** During our meeting MrC*** walked the entire house and property with us addressing every detail of our questions Not only did he address business aspects, but he took the time to talk about himself, his family, and ask us similar questions It was apparent to see that not only was MrC*** a passionate builder, but a devoted business and family man of the communityAfter this initial meeting he continued to stay in touch with us and personally see the sale of our new home through to the endIt's going on three months now that we have been in our new home, during this time some things have developed that need attention We have called MrC*** and he has jumped right on to getting these minor issues fixed, and generally within the next day or within that weekThere are a couple of other things on our punch out list scheduled to be completed, these are ordinary items that are expected when you purchase a new home I also have to say that every employee of Spotsylvania Construction we have had the privilege to speak with or who has come to our house has been great, very professional and friendlyWe are very pleased with our purchase and the craftsmanship that was put into our new home, and would recommend Spotsylvania Construction Incto anyone looking to build a new custom home
