we have the parts just waiting on cust to tell us when they can bring truckAs for rental bill d town did not do anything regarding the rental bill the only mistake we made was to tell you we would help pay aI'll that does not belong to dtown that was our mistakeYou the ins company and
enterprise are the people involved in that bill since you are u happy with our help paying your bill wewluld like for you to return our $It's not d town fault your insurance did not properly estimate the truck and took so long to approve the supplement

I am rejecting this response because: I can't help but notice that D-Town will only address the issue of the rental car.  I have moved on from this subject & have no further comments as I had  to pay out of pocket for the remainder of the bill. If D-Town wants to meet me at their south location with the parts, they can hand me the parts & I would not even expect them to install the items.  I'll install them myself and consider will then consider the matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because: D-Town rep, **, told me that they're were waiting on the Dodge emblem to place on the truck gate before they could finish with my truck. When the truck was returned to me, it didn't have the emblem they were supposedly waiting for.  Also, D-Town returned my truck with a piece in the inside wheel well that still had the original damage. I fact, I had to remove that piece so I could free up the tire.  All D-Town did, was to replace the damaged piece I removed. And if D-Town thought that the delay in returning my truck was due to an incorrect estimate bill, then they shouldn't have accepted the job.  I still maintain that D-Town owes me remainder of the rental bill because their reps told me my truck would be ready two different times, I took the day off for it, and my truck was ready because of an issue with painters or body men.  Take your pick of excuses, because that's what D-Town reps will tell.  Just depends on who answers the phone. If D-Town was any type of a professional business or had any integrity, they would have contact me, told me the parts had arrived and made arrangements to install the parts at their south Austin location.  One piece has to be glued on and the other can be screwed on. I am not surprised that D-Town said they're waiting for me to contact them as I have come to the conclusion that they would rather blame someone else instead of taking responsibilities for their actions.  I would be greatly astonished if D-Town actually conducted themselves as professionals and resolved the issues to the customer's  satisfaction and expectations.

We have the parts jus waiting on customer to tell us when he wants us to instal he only needs to call us makes no sense to contact us about those items via  Revdex.com and as for the rental bill that was never a bill d town created or stated that we would cover if the insurance did not pay. But he told us the insurance stoped paying for his bill that had nothing to do with our obligation to repair his vehicle and because of our kindness and giving him $450 for a bill that was not even ours. I told him he could call the insurance company or he can call the rental car company and they can provide him with help. That is not d town body shop responsibility to pay for a rental car or buy gas for a rental car or anything else. The only mistake d town did regarding the rental was paying $450 for something that was not our responsibility. Go figure being kind and giving away $450 cash to customer to pay rental only makes a customer more madd at d town when we should have just told him I'm sorry but that is between you and the rental company and the insurance company.

Because of some of the slang used during her rebuttal it's hard to understand if there is a question involved in it. The customer received $750 in compensation and the insurance company does not pay extra money on any claims only what is owed. I told her from the bevgininh that Theo insurance company should at least pay 30 days rental on each claim which is 60 days. And since it took a week to get the supplement approved and another 3 weeks to get second claim Initial estimate

I'm [redacted] the manager of D town and I have talked to and explained to customer several times why the repairs are taking so long. First off we are working on 2 different claims and the second claim the insurance company took over 3 weeks to provide us with an estimare. The shop making a supplement...

of a vehicle is standard operational procedure. I waited almost 6 weeks on getting estimate and final approval of supplements and I called customer several times telling her to all insurance because I knewtbdy would cut her rental car that is covered in her policy off too early. Notwithstanding the $750 I already gave the customer in the form of back it perplexes me that she is asking for some hmpre money even though the insurance company is at fault. I tried everything to appease this customer but it seems shear t gonna be happy u Messi viveber a pocket full of cash

I am rejecting this response because: D Town Body shop continues to claim I was given $750.00 dollars which I was not given. He ([redacted]) did not put $ 750.00 in my hand nor did the insurance company. He allowed me to keep a small portion of the deductible from each of the claims which was stated earlier response. I have all the paper work from both claims and the dates that each check was paid to D Town Body he was given the allotted time as well additional time to complete repairs. D Town Body Shop did not start repairs on first claim until after he had received all supplements on the second claim which had nothing to do with the first claim. The owner agreed to pay for rental fees verbally and in writing. My car was dropped of at D Town Body Shop on September 22, 2016 and on December 27, 2016 I finally get a call that my car was ready for pick up. This was after I made my complaint to the Revdex.com.  When I arrive at the body shop I inspected my car and there are several imperfections on my vehicle. The paint job is done sloppy you can see in several different areas were the paint rain and was not buffed out. The trimming on the passenger side that run the length of the car was part of the original estimate to be replaced. It was not replaced he tried to straighten it out and put it back on my vehicle. It is still bent in several places and is coming off the car because it was not glued properly. The trimming on the driver side was not glued properly and is coming off. The front fender which was part of original estimate was not replace or repaired properly it still has a dent and paint does not match.  There is part of my fender that was not attached properly and hanging off my vehicle. All of these things was pointed out to his assistant and noted. I was given a warranty stating paint and body repairs work is good for one year and several imperfection was pointed out by customer and noted. D Town body shop will be fully responsible for any and all repairs that are noted. Appointment must be made prior to dropping off vehicle. This was signed and given to me on December 27, 2016 when I picked up my vehicle.  I also had several sensor lights that came on in my vehicle stating several of my tires were low on air. I checked my tires at a gas station and found one of my tires had 50 pounds of air in it. I immediately to vehicle to Discount tires and had it my tires checked. Right front tire had 50 lbs of air, right back tire had 20 lbs of air, left front tire had 40 lbs of air and left back tire had 30lbs of air. Discount tires filled my tires with the appropriate amount of air and balanced them for me. My car had been sitting for so long it appears he just put air in my tires and did not care how much was put in them. That made my vehicle unsafe on the road and put my safety in jeopardy.  When the representative from Enterprise Car Rental presented him  with the bill his response was he does not have any business with Enterprise Car Rental and he can kindly leave his shop. Although he agreed verbally and in writing he would take care of any charges accumulated on the rental starting 11/9/2016 until all repairs were complete. The owner has been rude, disrespectful and has not shown good business behavior he asked his assistant if I had my keys yet and he replied "yes". He then said "she and Dexter can both leave my shop". He did not properly repair my vehicle and did not honor his agreement he made to pay for the rental. I want him to pay for my car to repaired at another shop, returned money back to my insurance company cause he did not complete repairs as well as pay for the rental fees as he had agreed to do.

I am rejecting this response because: D Town body shop operates a business who tries to assist customers with their deductible by offering the customer to keep a portion  of their  deductible.  Then  in turns go back and make supplement claims on the original claims for as much as he can milk your insurance company for.  My first claim was made in July 2016 and my second claim was made in September 2016. The first  claim I made in July total $2400.00 with a $500.00 dollar deductible it was not filed right so my a**uster went back and filed it under comprehensive  with a $250.00 deductible.  D Town thought he was doing a generous gesture by saying I can keep $125.00 of that deductible. He then went and made two additional supplement on that claim bring the total to over  $4500.00.  On my second claim which was for $2500.00 with a deductible of $250.00, again he said keep 100.00 of that deductible which was a total of $225.00 for both claims I did not have to pay him. In return on the second claim he got two additional supplement bringing the  total $3500.00 dollars. I decided to do both repairs at the same time cause it would be easier that way. D Town received all payment within in a timely matter as well as he himself went and picked up the checks since Farmers was only five minutes away from his shop. D Town Body Shop had more than the allotted time to fix and repair my vehicle and was given extra time.  I have called his shop on a daily basis several times a day and only gotten the run around from his assistant ** (who is his son). Enterprise rental has gone up there on several occasion trying to secure payment and again the assistant gave them the run around. Saying owner not available, he is in the back work will be out shortly. I went up there December 13, 2016 with the Travis County Sherriff to see and take pictures of my vehicle and it was not close to being ready at that time he signed a paper stating it would be ready on Friday December 16, 2016. On that Friday he called me and said it would be ready on Monday December 19, 2016. I called each day and it was not ready. I went to shop on December 22, 2016 and took more pictures of my vehicle and it looked the same as December 13, 2016. The owner was not available as usual and I got the run around from his assistant. Till this day I still do not have my vehicle.

Charlotte Hughes
