6-Jay S [redacted] an Auto Damage Appraiser from Geico,? Custand Kevin R [redacted] (shop owner)? inspected damage to Custvehicle.? It was found the car had new damage on the lower bumper cover valance (pulled away and downward from lower part of bumper on the left side, same side that was pulled away from vehicle.)? There was a? rock or piece of concrete jammed in between the lower valance? and the bumper? cover.? ? ? There were new scratches, scrapes and abrasions on the left and center area on the bottom of the bumper cover.? The left side of the bumper was pulled forward and out of the side retaining bracket on left fender and the retaining screw hole was torn out.? Left fender liner was missing.? There were new scratches on the sub frame that are? the same type of scratches found on the bumper cover in exact proximity to the bumper cover scratches.? MrS [redacted] confirmed and explained to Cust.? that this is not a warranty issue but new damage that she caused.? Customitted his conclusion and explanation to her in reporting this claim.This damage occurs? when a car is pulled too far forward on a parking curbWhen? car is backed up the bumper catches on curb, pulls away from vehicle, tears out mounting points? of the fender liner.? The new damage? indicates this as the cause.? The bumper was pulled so far forward that it was partially covering the left front headlampMrS [redacted] is happy to make a statement to confirm this reportHe can be reached at ###-###-####.? When a fender liner is torn out like this,? as? you reach highway? speeds nothing is holding? the front of the liner on and the wind pushes it under the tire and so? tear it away from the vehicleHer claim that I-Collision would intentionally do a faulty repair? is beyond comprehension.?
