Put in a service request for gas logs Novembr 19th 2014. Still haven't heard from them since.Put in a service request for my gas logs November 19th, 2014. Had not heard from as December 19th so I sent a email. They said explained they were backed up. That would get to me as soon a they could. Sent another email a month later after not hearing from them. Dot no response to email. Now it is February 6th and still have not heard from them. Desired SettlementWould like my gas logs to be serviced/repaired.Business Response Consumer was contacted directly and was given explanation as to why we were unable to accommodate her request for service. Customer was offered the opportunity for us to provide the requested services again on 2-9-15 after explaining that due to a credit situation we were only able to offer the requested services on a "prepaid" basis. We instructed the customer to call us when they were able to prepay for the requested services and then we would be able to provide the services requested.

They installed a leaky propane tank at our house. We discovered it when the tank was almost empty. They charged us over $200 for their mistake.We had a 125 gallon propane tank installed at the end of Feb 2014. We were not able to get it until after the winter storms of last year so we had not used it much at all. I was outside and heard a very faint hissing noise coming from it this January 2015. My husband checked it and discovered it was leaking. He called and was told it sounded like the blow off valve was leaking. They sent someone out who confirmed it was an issue with a rubber gasket in the blow off valve. He said they were only allowed to hand tighten them, so because of that, they tended to leak when it got cold. He tightened it with a wrench, filled the tank then handed me a bill for almost $250! I asked why we were being charged for their equipment issue. He told me to call the office and get it adjusted. My husband called and the lady said we could have a tiny adjustment. My husband asked to talk to the owner/manager for a larger adjustment. The owner would't speak directly to him, but did offer a slightly less tiny adjustment. They still sent us a bill for over $200.I paid the bill because I don't want it to go to collections, but there is no way we should have been billed more than $40. We never got a chance to use much of the propane before it leaked out and they admitted that it was an issue with their equipment. Until last year we had been using those tiny exchange propane tanks from the grocery store. Each one of them has lasted on average a year and a half. KB Johnson seems to be suggesting that we used a 125 gallon tank in less than a year even though we only ran the grill about 5 times and the used the fire place for a total of an hour. They flat out admitted that it was a leakage issue, but sent us a bill for their screw up. Not only do I feel like I was robbed of over $200. They put the leaky tank right under our bedroom window. Propane is flammable, this could have killed us. We have tired twice to get a better adjustment from them and they are not interested in working with us. I am also now extremely concerned about the safety of the equipment they installed at my house.Desired SettlementI want a refund of the money I paid for gas that leaked out of their faulty equipment and I want to be sure that putting a large tank of flammable gas that is known to leak right up against my house is not a safety issue.Business Response Worked with the customer directly to solve the issue.Consumer Response I was contacted by the owner of KB Johnson immediately after they were notified of the complaint. He was extremely nice and admitted the situation should have been handled differently. He offered a fair adjustment. If the issue had been handled this well since the beginning I would consider them a 5 star company. Its unfortunate that it had to escalate to a Revdex.com complaint, but I am very happy with his response to the issue.
