He is financially irresponsible because he lost track of the draw. I found him to be less than forth right. He will tell you he is coming and doesn’t show or call. His work started off good but didn't finish well. Some things he did well but other things were not done well at all. He built a closet for my shoes – not one shelf – where were the shoes going to be placed. He damaged the bathroom vanity while he was installing it. The job on the deck was sub-par. There was one coat skimming place on top – the tuck points are still open. The patio will not pass city inspection. The sliding closet doors are cut to short the doors would be above the guides. His solution was to buy some wood, place it under the guides and leave it sticking out under the door. The tile work in one of the bathrooms looks unfinished because he did not install the silver strip over the edge of the tile. Almost every plumbing installation leaked. He had to redo kitchen, both showers, and basins. Floor tile leading into mom’s bathroom is cracked. He damaged one of the kitchen cabinets while installing it. He misaligned one small cabinet and you can only use one shelf. I wanted a lock installed on the french doors to my bedroom and he installed the kind of lock that would lock me inside the room and the doors never locked together. The kitchen didn’t go in until late August because he didn’t have the money to purchase the items until I pulled funds from my pension, but he told my mom I wanted my bedroom completed before the kitchen. He put a rush on the project in October 2015 because he was close to the end of another bank extension on November 1, 2015. He did the patch job on the closets last week. The reason for not connecting them to the bottom was it would damage the carpet. He came in to finish this week but after I told him the closet doors were unattractive, unacceptable and tacky. Advised him to let us know the time he would return to finish the project because I wanted my brother her instead of my mother to avoid another cosmetic disaster and he did not return.
