Authentic Custom Homes is not in the business of renting homesWe are a custom home builder*** *** is not a customer of ours
She is, however, a customer of KB Woods Properties and has a contract with that companyPer her contract, she
is not to paint the rental property without written consentWritten consent (nor verbal) was ever given to Ms*** to paint the interior of the homeShe moved into a brand new construction home and painted several walls BLACKThe amount that KB Woods Properties had to pay the painter to repaint the walls was removed from her deposit and the remainder will be mailed to the customerKB Woods Properties does have a contract, photos taken before she moved in and photos taken when she moved out, and the invoice from the painting company to back up our claim
(It should also be noted that Ms*** was to have the home ready for inspection on June 15th, per her written noticeShe was given additional days and then was upset that she couldn't continue to paint over the black walls past that date.)
We have explained this to Ms*** and she continues to call the offices of Authentic Custom HomesShe threatened to sue and due to that, we will no longer discuss the matter with her
She is now attempting to damage the reputation of Authentic Custom Homes, even though she did not purchase an ACH home nor have a contract with us, as she feels that will get her more attention since ACH is a more publicly recognized companyThis is a case of a renter who damaged a home and who is now trying to damage the owner of that home by going after his well known companyThis case and complaint has nothing to do with Authentic Custom Homes
