Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please find attached the pictures that indicate that the mailbox was clearly damaged by a vehicle that was leaving a driveway immediately across the streetPlease see tire tracks and the tilt of the mailbox towards the houseThe age of the mailbox is irrelevantIf the mailbox was not struck by KJ curb appeal's snow clearing vehicle (pickup) it would still be usableI am seeking the full cost of the materials needed for repair (receipts are available)I reserve the right to seek other damages including the time to fix the mailbox both temporarily and permanently if this matter goes to small claims court Regards, [redacted]

After getting the call from [redacted] I contacted my employee in regards to his complaintHe said he never backed into his mailbox*** also never indicated he had pictures, he only stated he seen my guy come close before so he was assuming he did itThis is the first I'm hearing about pictures Initially, I went out to look at it and found that the post was rotted out at the bottomSince I've worked very hard at building my business and reputation I didn't want to ruin it over something so minor so I offered to fix it at no cost, even though my employee said he didn't do it and [redacted] had no proofHe said no, that he would pick up the supplies and call me back once he had them and we could come up with a fair price to settle onHe called me back and said the materials were $I again offered to come out to help him put the new mailbox in, he said no and I asked him what he thought a fair price was on the materialsHe asked me what was fair and I told him $because I don't believe we did do it and his mailbox was years old and rottedI though half was more than fair

Initially, I went out to look at it and found that the post was rotted out at the bottom. Since I've worked very hard at building my business and reputation I didn't want to ruin it over something so minor so I offered to fix it at no cost, even though my employee said he didn't do it and [redacted] had no proof. He said no, that he would pick up the supplies and call me back once he had them and we could come up with a fair price to settle on. He called me back and said the materials were $120. I again offered to come out to help him put the new mailbox in, he said no and I asked him what he thought a fair price was on the materials. He asked me what was fair and I told him $60 because I don't believe we did do it and his mailbox was 10 years old and rotted. I though half was more than fair.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please find attached the pictures that indicate that the mailbox was clearly damaged by a vehicle that was leaving a driveway immediately across the street. Please see tire tracks and the tilt of the mailbox towards the house. The age of the mailbox is irrelevant. If the mailbox was not struck by KJ curb appeal's snow clearing vehicle (pickup) it would still be usable. I am seeking the full cost of the materials needed for repair (receipts are available). I reserve the right to seek other damages including the time to fix the mailbox both temporarily and permanently if this matter goes to small claims court.
