I have read the owner's response and am surprised at the lack of accuracy I have been advised by numerous parts suppliers that a door of a different color - but will fit on the hinges, not one that matches the refrigerator in question Note, there are three doors on a Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator, and a matching color is an important part.Although this is a four year old refrigerator it was in perfect condition and now has multiple dents in two doors, one of which is on the corner Both myself and KC Granite states they explored parts suppliers and worked with the manufacturer - and Jason the KC Granite manager advised he was out of options and could not locate a door that would match my refrigerator Jason further states that the owner "did not want to pay" The owner was willing to pay $- take it or leave it - with the insistence that it was a four year old appliance This is unacceptable I have requested that they turn this damage over to their insurance adjuster and was advised again, by Jason that the deductible would cost more, than the replacement - the owner was unwilling to do that.No one has called me, emailed me, or sent any letters of intent - I requested to speak to the owner directly Kenny *** however was advised he is unavailable - per his sister who works at the Lackman Road location Based on their response, I reached out again 10/20/to their office and was advised the owner is unavailable, and I left multiple phone numbers again.Their employees damaged my property and several of their employees and myself witnessed the damage The installer profusely apologized, and Jason the Store Manager assured me that it would be reconciled - however this has not occurred. It should also be noted, that replacement costs are based on what is being advertised at this time, and I do not control appliance prices I will continue to pursue resolution through all necessary means until resolved, and barring parts in the matching color, it needs to be replaced
Regards,

The customer is correct, the refrigerator was slightly damaged during the installation of the graniteWe are not an appliance company, nor do we sell appliances, but I did try to compensate the customer for the damage that occurredI did some research and found a replacement door (brand new, keep
in mind we are talking about a year old appliance) for $As I stated before we are not an appliance company so I offered a $payment for compensation to replace the doorThat should be more than enough to buy a replacement door, get it installed, and probably have some left overI have attached a picture to this response and as you can tell the damage is very minorUnfortunately, in any business, mistakes do happen occasionally and when we do make mistakes we always compensate to the best of our ability and very rarely does a customer leave unhappyI was informed by the customer that the refrigerator was purchased years ago for $1,so I can't imagine paying more than full retail price for a used applianceI offered what I considered to be reasonable and not only was my offer refused but has now gone as far as a complaint to the Revdex.comThe customer no longer answers our calls, refuses to negotiate, and has unreasonable expectations of reparationPlease view the attached picture and give me your opinion on the "$damage"I can also supply a link where you can buy a brand new door for this refrigerator for $if necessaryThank you for your time in resolving this complaint that I personally consider frivolous

The customer is correct, the refrigerator was slightly damaged during the installation of the granite. We are not an appliance company, nor do we sell appliances, but I did try to compensate the customer for the damage that occurred. I did some research and found a replacement door (brand new, keep...

in mind we are talking about a 4 year old appliance) for $250. As I stated before we are not an appliance company so I offered a $500 payment for compensation to replace the door. That should be more than enough to buy a replacement door, get it installed, and probably have some left over. I have attached a picture to this response and as you can tell the damage is very minor. Unfortunately, in any business, mistakes do happen occasionally and when we do make mistakes we always compensate to the best of our ability and very rarely does a customer leave unhappy. I was informed by the customer that the refrigerator was purchased 4 years ago for $1,700 so I can't imagine paying more than full retail price for a used appliance. I offered what I considered to be reasonable and not only was my offer refused but has now gone as far as a complaint to the Revdex.com. The customer no longer answers our calls, refuses to negotiate, and has unreasonable expectations of reparation. Please view the attached picture and give me your opinion on the "$2000 damage". I can also supply a link where you can buy a brand new door for this refrigerator for $250 if necessary. Thank you for your time in resolving this complaint that I personally consider frivolous.
