Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Since you never recorded transactions on my online account and since you will not provide documentation to prove that my items were sold on ebay I can only conclude that you do not have the integrity of an honest consignment business [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] ***

Hello, Its unfortunate when our customers are disappointed in our services We try our best to act in the best interest of the client and do our very best In fact, that is why we make our process so transparent Online auctions are incredibly transparent with the entire estate pictured and prices realized listed right online Our eBay practice is the same way Once items are listed a link is provided and the clients can see all their items and their asking prices Unfortunately, this client wanted his items back before we had a chance to get them listed online We gave them back, with the exception of one book that could not be located at the time. Our contract spells out how we handle sales and we indicated to the seller that we do take items back to list on ebay if they are items that will typically get more value there We sent a list of items many times and this is our standard practice We have links available to consignors so that they can see their items online and a link that shows daily sales and balances as well as payouts Before we even had a chance to list the items online, the seller wanted them back So we provided the items back to the seller as requested A couple had been listed right away and sold and were paid for WE generally just get to getting items sold We did have difficulty locating one book We have located it and it has been here awaiting pick up Unfortunately when this client asked about his items, had questions he was not calling the store, he was texting a number that does not get used for texts very often because the number is forwarded There is no way to forward a text that we know about We did ask that the texting would stop We always recommend clients CALL us or stop in our store which is open five days a week to discuss complaints In this case, the client would have found out his book has been here awaiting pick up for a few months. We assume our clients want the most money for their items and operate accordingly However, some clients don't like the eBay option We've now added a portion to our contract that specifically allows our clients to opt out of the ebay option (despite that these items would sell much higher in that venue) Therefore, clients who are uncomfortable having their items removed from the site can have them remain We do leave a list of items at the house as well when we remove thingsPerhaps this list got shuffled aside.Regardless, we are always disappointed when clients are disappointed and we will definitely take all this feedback into consideration to see how we can improve our process in the future We believe in transparency so will continue to look for ways to make our processes and items status' very clear. Therefore, the book is available for pick up from BumblePuppy Tuesday through Saturday 9:to 5: If the client would like to contact us (not through texting) we can also mail the book to save him a trip in We realize the client will still remain disappointed in us and we do apologize However, we do hope this will give him the closure he seeks We have taken this situation and feedback to heart

We are sorry to hear that our client was not happy with the service provided We met with this client on numerous occasions to explain our process and contractOur online sales manager met with her for over an hour before she consigned her items We then went through the items to determine what was salable online and what was not The client came back to pick up the items that were not salable online (typically items that sell for less than $are rejected from our online sales) Where we spent more time going over how everything works She picked up some of the rejects but not others When items are rejected from ebay, they sell in the retail store After a period of not selling these items are donated This is in the contract and was explained to the client Despite this, we did give the client money the full value (no commission taken off) for both items she claimed that she did not realize would be donated if they did not sell She later came to pick up a few other listed items that she wanted back We then sold five of the items It DOES take awhile for ebay payouts to occur and we have since updated our contracts to be more specific about the length of time to get paid out We need to list the item, then since we are not selling the item too cheaply it takes a few weeks or months to sell After it sells, we have to wait for the customer to pay Not ever customer pays in a timely manner Then after they pay, we pack and ship the item Then we wait for the customer to receive the item Ebay requires us to offer a day return policy We wait the days to see if there is a return before releasing the moneyIn the meantime, we offer two ways for consignors to check their online items to see sales, sales status, etc Items can be looked up directly in our ebay store by using the client consignment number That way clients can see what is for sale and what it is for sale for Additionally, we use a program called MYRESALEWEB in which clients can log in and see their sales, payouts and check amounts We like for our clients to be able to track their items. This client has called and stopped in many many times We have spent many hours explaining how our services work When we sell on ebay, amazon and etsy, our fees are clearly written in the contract Our clients pay us a percentage of sales, plus a $per item listing fee (we try to only list things over $30, but do sometimes take less valuable items in if they are good sellers) The listing fee is still collected even if the consignor picks up their item and we have already listed it We did waive this clients listing fees for the items she picked up We realized she was unhappy with our services so do try to work with our clients when possible This client also was pressing really hard for an early payout We have a very well greased process in order to ensure that customers are paid the money owed when they are owed it When this process is followed, these paypouts adn information get updated in the clients myresaleweb account Unfortunately in the attempt to make this client happy, we did pay her out early, which meant her payout was not included in our regular process She got her money early, but the other information was not in place when the payout received Under our contracted process, this would never have happened Statements with this information would have been included with a regularly processed check In retrospect we should have just kept with our regularly scheduled payment schedule (but again, we were trying to satisfy an unhappy client) The information requested was given to the client but is also included below as it seems there is still a question on what items sold for and the charges.Again, we are sorry when clients are not happy with our service The requested documentation is listed below.Waltham Running Model Antique Pocket Watch Ornate JBoss GF Case 1216-1-S Sold for $39, listing fee $5, ebay/paypal fees: $6.50, shipping and insurance $(free shipping was offered to the buyers to increase listing visibility so the item would sell This is reflected in the asking price of the item), Men's 14k Yellow Gold Nugget Style Size Ring 10mm Wide Band 1216-1-S Sold for $99, listing fee $5, ebay/paypal fees: $16.04, shipping and insurance $(free shipping was offered to the buyers to increase listing visibility so the item would sell This is reflected in the asking price of the item), Elgin Vintage Open Face 15j Pocket Watch Model Parts or Repair 1216-1-Sold for $349, listing fee $5, ebay/paypal fees: $55.79, shipping and insurance $(free shipping was offered to the buyers to increase listing visibility so the item would sell This is reflected in the asking price of the item), Gruen White 14k Gold Reinforced Jewel Vintage Ladies Wristwatch 1216-1-Sold for $ Listing fee $5, ebay/paypal fees $10.95, shipping and insurance $(free shipping was offered to the buyers to increase listing visibility so the item would sell This is reflected in the asking price of the item), Montana Silversmiths Western Horse & Foal Silver Plate Belt Buckle 1216-1- Sold for $39, listing fee $5, ebay/paypal fees $6.50, shipping $(no insurance required and can ship in a simple polybag) (free shipping included in asking price of item)In the process of this whole situation, our ebay manager no longer worked here so we did have a transition period from one to the next However, we have spent many many hours with this client on phone and in person answering questions and we have gone over the same items many, many times Our contract is clear about the charges that we collect for ebay items Our commission, the listing fee and the ebay and paypal charges We now include a sample sheet with examples of what is received from sample items to make the process more transparent We strive for transparency which is why we offer multiple places to log in and a very clear contract Hopefully the breakdowns above provide enough detail We can't really break it down any further We recommend that all clients really go through our contracts They are written in layman's terms and clearly detail what we do We also encourage all clients to use the processes and programs we have in place for them to watch their items and payouts

We provided the requested records in the original response to this claimThe items that were sold on eBay are listed there with their prices and associated chargesThat is what was asked for and what was provided in the first response to this complaintWe have no additional information on these itemsWe cannot provide the names or addresses of our buyers so that information will not be providedIt's the only other information that is stored in our system

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  First of all the only time I met with [redacted] and [redacted] to discuss the consignment process was December 11, 2015.  I have forwarded a copy of the contract to be reviewed. The contract state records regarding proceeds of sale will be open to you at all times.  Many attempts were made by me to open #1216 at www.myresaleweb.com and the account always showed a zero balance, no transactions.  In February I did stop in at the store for assistance to check my account status, David the manager was unable to help me get into the account, although he did try.  I still continued to trust that things would be handled uprightly until three months passed and still no check or communication.  I phoned to ask for update on my sales and to ask for my proceeds.  Finally March 26, 2016 the attached check #3319 was received for $283.58 with the note "5 ebay items sold, will send accounting ASAP".Note the contract states "you agree to leave all items with us for a minimum of 90 days".  Also note on Page 3 of contract there are 2 paragraphs that [redacted] crossed out including the one about donations.  There was no agreement or discussion ever that any of my valuables would be donated.  Refer to the response of Revdex.com's documentation of sale, who would ever be satisfied to sell an 1891 running ornate pocket watch for $39.00 or who would ever in all honesty sell a men's 14 karat gold nugget wide band size 11 ring for $99.00 ( when [redacted], the ebay person weighed it and told me it should bring appx $450.00.  Disregard the fact that two items were "lost", one antique pocket watch and an old Canadian uncirculated silver dollar, for which I was paid $10.00 for both.Suffice to say, I am asking for proof that these items were sold on Ebay, the date and the price which will satisfy me in knowing that this business made honest transactions on my behalf
