The reservation paid for by the customer was for the date of July 4, at 8:A.MOur business was open and staff were available to fulfill the reservation but the customer did not show up to go on the trip by the departure timeThe customer did come in sometime after 12:Noon that same day demanding a refundStaff explained that our policy, which is stated on our website, is that we do not offer refunds but instead issue rainchecksThe customer refused the raincheck and became very vulgar to our staff and stated that he would just dispute the charge on his credit card and leftHe gave no explanation as to why he did not show up for his reservationA response to his credit card dispute was sent on 7/19/As I stated, our business was open and ready to provide the services paid for at the time reserved but the customer did not show upWe incurred labor cost of staff coming in early to fulfill this reservation and the customer never contacted us to let us know he was not comingWe were open and provided services to over other customers that day and none of them experienced situations of dangerAs for weather, there were no tornado warnings that day and the Current River was not flooding in any wayIf conditions were like what was described in the complaint then we would not have been open for businessI do not feel that we had an obligation to offer a raincheck in this situation, but when it was offered to the customer for the full amount of the charge while he was in our store, he refused itI have spoken to my staff and none of them recall having any conversation with the customer since the day of his inappropriate behavior in our store 7/4/I do not see where we have any fault in this situation and therefore disagree with the complaint filed Thank You, [redacted] ***MemberKC's On The Current, LLC
