We responded to the clients residence and upon changing the blower motor discovered the damaged wheel. Our tech then had to go to the warehouse and retrieve the proper wheel and return to install it. That extra 1 hr. is factored into the price, $296 wheel installed and $130.00 to go and get... it. These prices are reasonable and with in industry standards. We responded to this call the same day, squeezing this call in at a very busy time and providing great service. To return anything not to mention $250.00 seems very unreasonable. Hopefully broken down you will agree.

Since I made this complaint, Chuck apologized for everything and delivered the correct filters that we orderedHe also reimbursed us what we paid him to replace the heat strip, the filters, and the labor we paid the other company to fix it I am satisfied with the outcome and feel that Chuck really did care and wanted to make things right I think he is a good person and even though things weren't handled in the best way he did feel really badly about it and wanted us to be happy in the end Thank you ***

I am rejecting this response because:Date: Thu, Jan 18, at 4:PMSubject: Re: KC Air Complaint Response (***)To: *** *** I have read the response and here are my comments: While I recognize that the work was accomplished same day, my issue is this: Failure to inform me of the cost increase associated with acquisition of the replacement wheel. Installation of the new wheel should not be considered since the ORIGINAL estimate would have required installation of an existing wheel to the motor. The removal of the defective motor, wheel and electrical connections and then installation of the new motor with the existing wheel had a price of $associated with those tasks. I felt that was indeed a fair price.The only difference between the above and what actually occurred was the need to acquire a new wheel and bolt on that new wheelPeriodEverything apart from that consisted of the exact same tasks that were included in the original estimate. The acquisition of a new wheel effectively doubled the price of the entire job. Knowing that now, I understand why no revised price estimate was provided to me.

were a bit slow to respond due to being over busyWe contacted *** *** and explained the situationShe's been very understanding and a pleasure to deal withWe advised her we'd refund the $and also $she said she paid to have someone come outCustomer service is always our priority and we are trying to higher additional qualified technicians so this does not happen in the future
