First of all I would like to inform everybody about the condition of the floor in *** residence:was full of dark spots supposedly
from pet urine,the floor was all cracked with the spaces between the boards greater than 1/of inch,the carpet padding was damaged and glued to the floor(we had to use a scraper to clean the floor)in the other words FLOOR WAS IN A VERY BED SHAPE
Second:after we seen the floor (carpet removal), we strongly recommended to NOT PROCEED WITH THE SANDING because those dark spots will NOT GONNA COME OUT and probably will pop up again and the quality of the job might not be the one expected
Mr *** forget to mention in his complaint that I called him three times to confirm that he is ok with the sanding job,and also warn him about the eventually problems that may occur
Also Mr.*** forgot to mention we did sand a spot and put a sample of the stain for him to check how is gonna look and not to have any complaints at the end of the jobI've suggested that we gonna need to replace some wood in order to make it look right and his reply was"*** you keep going up on me man" and declined
It is true we sand the floor two times,not three,because the customer was complaining and use other products to make it work but unfortunately none of those helped
The third time we only applied a coat of stain, hoping that will help covering some of the spots
I was fully aware the floor is not gonna meet the expectations
Our policy is to try to make everybody happy at the end of the job and I propose a deal to the customer: TO BUY the materials only and we'll gonna install and complete the job for free
I also called few of my suppliers and get a great material discount(offer declined by the owners)
After declining the new floor installation,I've offer the owner to sand the floor one more time, free of charge, if they gonna sign me a letter to acknowledge the poor condition of the floor and cease the complaints.They also declined
I also want to let everybody know the total amount of the contract was $1700,but only $was covering the floor sanding,the rest of the money was paid for the other trades(carpet removal,tile removal,floor installation in the hallway,baseboard removal,baseboard and qtr-round installation)
Our statement is Mr.*** is not in position to demand a settlement because HE WAS FULLY AWARE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE FLOOR,PRIOR TO THE SANDING JOB
DESPITE THE FACT HE ONLY PAID ONLY $FOR THE SANDING JOB HE CLAIMS WE NEED TO COVER FOR A NEW FLOOR INSTALLATION IN HIS HOME MATERIAL AND LABOR($JOB)
ISN'T THAT RIDICULOUS????
NOW HE LOWERS HIS DEMANDS A LITTLE AND ASKS US
TO REFUND HIM ALL THE MONEY HE PAID TO US ($1700)

Nice tactic u apply,put the blame on us in order to demand a new floor installation or a full refund and..voila ...u have the job for free..not at this time

As you can see in years of activity you're the first one who posted a negative complaint in our account
Also he forgot we have been refereed to him by one of his friends very pleased of our work
I urge all the serious people who are in the market for floor not to pay attention to Mr.*** and come and check we us our long list of testimonials and also schedule a visit at job sites

First of all I would like to say when I first called *** out to my house for an estimate it was to install a new hardwood floorI was pepared and willing to pay for brand new flooring with the quote he gave meDuring the initial visit to my home he listened to me tell him exactly what I wanted, which was a new floorHe then went on to ask me what did I have under my carpet and I told him hardwood floorThen he asked me why don't I just have my original floors refinished because he can make them look like newHe told me once they remove the carpet and view the floor he can let me know the condition of the wood and let me know for sure if it can be restoredAfter removing carpet and examining my floor he told me "No Problem, My wood is good" and he can make it look like newDont you think, if according to him the professional,if my wood was bad and he couldn't guarantee the results he would've had me to sign some sort of waiver acknowledging that in the very beginning? Right! That's what I thought tooOnce *** and his crew arrived at my house to begin the project he sanded one area of the flooring and placed two different stain colors so that I could choose the one I wanted and to see what it would look likeFrom to two samples I chose the one I wanted and he began the process of restoring my floorsHe was done everything in one day, which I found was odd because I thought You had to apply a minimum of two coats of polyurethane and the second coat being done one day after the firstSo anyway after the hours that he told me I couldn't walk on my I wanted to see the end resultI had to call him because there were light spots showing up in the wood where the stain looked like it didn't take So he said it was because he had the window open while he was applying the final coat and that's what caused the floor to have a "bad reaction" He told me to correct that problem that he would have to resand and restain the entire floor againAfter the second time it was the same problem but even worstNow he comes out a third time to try to correct this issue again and it was times worst than the 1st and 2nd timeMy floors weren't a problem until *** made it a problem with all the sanding and bad staining within the matter of one monthOh and I forgot to mention I have no petsAt this point after having a professional in your home to try to do a job that he supposingly has been doing for over years, I called it quitsI request a refund and I didn't want this man back in my home ever againHe actually thought I would let him install a new floor for me after all thisISNT THAT RIDICULOUS???? THANKS *** ...BUT NO THANKS!!!!! I have pictures of EVERYTHING from start to finish and I will see you in courtBy the way He never furnished me my receipt that he promised time and time again that he was going to give meThis company is a joke and I wouldn't refer them to anyone I hate

If you want destroyed floors and a faulty installation job, then Kevin is the guy to use. After two certified inspectors deemed his work faulty, he still won't pay up to cover the cost of trying to fix the floors. We have a brand new home and he made the floors look worse than in a home with 100yr old floors! Do not use him!
