Review: I have attempted to work with K & D SALES & SERVICE, LLC on servicing my new [redacted] air-conditioning / heating unit. However, I am getting nowhere with them. The technician sent over last month to assess the unit seemed inexperienced and unknowledgeable and their customer service is just as bad. I contacted the company on December 8, 2014 to check on status of my service repair and was hung up on by a rude representative of the organization named [redacted]. When I attempted to call back, she would continuously place me on hold and refused to help me. Additionally, I asked to speak to the company’s owner named [redacted]; however, have gotten no response from him. I only want my unit repaired – as per the warranty on the unit. I paid a considerable amount for the unit and unit arrived damaged – due to no fault of mine. The heating element does not work and the grill was broken. My only guess is that the unit was mishandled and the internal computer system does not work; thus, the reason the heating unit does not work.Desired Settlement: I would like someone from the organization to contact me and have the unit repaired before the warranty on the unit expires. I would also like to be treated with courtesy and respect and have someone other than [redacted] help me.

Review: First to begin an Avanti stove was purchased from P.C. Richards and the oven [redacted] broke a few months ago. Even prior to that the rubber trim had broke around the oven that keeps the heat in. A bolt came loose from the oven [redacted] and therefore the oven could not be used during this time. I had many calls with both K&D Sales and Service and P.C. Richards trying to get this [redacted] fixed. I got the runaround for weeks until I was finally able to get K&D to come out and fix the [redacted] as to where I could use the oven. The [redacted] still had to be replaced completely though. During this time I made many calls to K&D to inquire as to when they would come to fix the knobs. Most each time I called I was placed on hold for many minutes and would become so frustrated, I would just hang up to call again since I cannot be sitting on hold for long while at work. When I was able to reach them I was told several times that they were waiting on parts from the manufacturer. It took months for them to receive knobs and they were still awaiting the rubber trim around the oven. I wasn't in too much of a hurry as they did fix it to where was able to use the oven but it was very frustrating and unprofessional of them to keep me waiting and putting me on hold many times. Finally when they made the appointment they couldn't give me a time and I had to call the day before for a time. This is a first for me; I have never heard of a business practicing this way. In any case, they finally did come out in September and replaced four knobs and the rubber trim. It wasn't until a day or so later I realized he had not replaced the oven [redacted] which as stated was the initial problem anyway)!!! When I called back to inform them of this they told me I had to call P.C. Richard to get authorization to put in another request for repair. I stated to them that it was not another repair as it wasn't even done. Well, my words went unheeded as they would not give me any sastisfaction on this repair.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to come out and replace/repair the oven [redacted] and an apology would be nice.
