KDBC was no prize-winner for engineering before the KFOX merger. But now weekends are ridiculous. We live in Las Cruces and do not purchase a service, we use a high quality antenna and access free over air broadcasts instead. During recent weekends KDBC has had goof-ups with relaying national CBS shows, often showing a visual with no sound (for 30 minutes or more at times), showing the start of one show at an unscheduled time , then switching into the scheduled show, or interrupting a news segment with commercials and then moving back to the interview. There is never an on air recognition of "Technical difficulties", never a crawl message of when they might show a "make- up segment" that includes the missing footage.
Bad enough as a viewer, especially when no human is at KDBC'sphones when these incidents happen, but WHY WOULD ANY ADVERTISER PAY FOR SUCH SHODDY PERFORMANCE??
