Legal Claimant Services contacted me because they said they determined I was the "rightful heir" to an account where the original owner (my father) is now deceased and they can help me recover the financial asset/accountHowever, the person they claim is deceased is my very alive and well brotherWhat a scam! (I 'd actually give them a zero star rating, but it won't let me.)

I completed paperwork for Keane to process unexchanged shares in a company I hold stock inThe service-level agreement is for them to send the exchange amount--less their 20% "processing fee"--within days of receiving the paperworkI have called twice and spoke with two different customer service peopleBoth confirmed the paperwork was received in mid January and I am now outside the day windowEach said they didn't know why the check hadn't been processedBoth said they would follow up and call me back within daysNeither has called back

This firm keeps sending letters to me & to both of my brothers concerning an unclaimed trust in my deceased mother's nameMy father took care of all of the financial investments: stocks, mutual funds, banking, IRAs, will & trusts he created for our family, He is now deceased alsoI've even called to inquire about this matterI have recieved phone calls in reference to this "supposed" trust on several ocassionsI'm still debating over the validity of this corporation & am skeptical about the 20% fee! Therefore, I belleve other claimants should be wary before jumping into this salient matter without consulting an attorney first!!! This will be my gauge for making a definite decision on the
resolution of this problemSecondly, my other bone of contention is the high fee of 20% for such a small amount of
money to be recieved after your "cut," so to speakI'm readily able to see this as a reasonable fee for large sums of money or for corporationsHowever, I strongly infer you are taking advantage of the "little guy" mentality I urge the CEO & top management
staff to lower the fee to indiviuals recieving less than say $100,Sincerely

I keep receiving letters stating that I have a check that is unclaimed, but Keane wants to take 10% of it in order for me to get it!? Why can I not find this "unclaimed check" on any website that shows you if you have unclaimed property? This smells like a scam!
