ending expense with repairs and maintenance and purchasing a higher mileage less expensive car there is going to be some expected repairs. [redacted] purchased a 2005 [redacted] sedan with 172,115 miles that was As IS No Warranty. While it is certainly understandable that any customer would be disappointed to have a check engine light come on and some immediate unplanned expenses right after the purchase. The time to call and discuss any if possible relief or help with repairs should be immediate and not 3 to 6 months later also that call should be made by the person whose name is printed on the paperwork. Any work orders or repair bills form a repair shop explaining the work that needs to be done and the cost involved is also helpful for the dealer. As people can imagine we do get a lot of phone calls from people looking for money and we must make sure it is a valid claim. It would also be nice to know how many miles have been put on the car.
