I'm dealing with a guy by the name of Richard Sommers. I'm almost sure he is braking the law with his scare tactics . He comes off as very mentally unstable
After reviewing the file in question we found absolutely no wrong doing by anybody at Kearns Brinen and Monaghan.In this case , prior to us getting involved, there was an written agreement that in the event of default this company and the person who personally guaranteed the transaction
would be responsible for collection fees and other default fee’sAgain this was agreed upon prior to our involvement.The remaining balance consist of those fee’s.We have closed this matter out and returned it to our client.Thank you

Had someone call from a blocked number posing as a private investigator. When asked what this was regarding he got very annoyed, told me this is a courtesy call we are about to get the bank to turn over your financial records...:-) that's when I knew it was a scam... false pretenses trying to get info on an ex employee, all they needed to do is identify themselves and act appropriately.. what my company over Lida because I definitely would not use These imposters
Very negative, negative customer service, rude, will hang up the phone even after giving what they say is valuable information, would rather deal with my debt else way.
Review: This company calls me from false numbers, leaves threats of jail time in an effort to collect a debt I have tried to make payments arrangements on. They told me in writing their client is,not interested in repayment but only jail time. Told my baby sitter I am going to jail for fraud. Told me not to contact my lender!! "Bad collection praticeses. Collection agents should not be allowed to contact and treat people like criminals. Calls me from my contacts phone numbers in my phone. Dirty practices. .Desired Settlement: No contact from them ever. !!!

Review: these guys call me to collect money.....we agreed on a monthly payment, however, they will not give me terms of the monthly payment. Just want me to give them a voided check and take $800 a month. I can't just give someone a voided check with no agreement/contract drawn up.
I researched this company and can't find an active business license for them to do business in DelawareDesired Settlement: No more contact from this business in any way shape or form

I received the complaint on [redacted]. We attemptd a payment plan both in house and at our clients office and both defaulted. We have forwarded this to our legal departments. Also Find attached our business license.
Review: This company contacted my husband and I regarding a collection issue my husband asked for documentation showing the company actually hired this collection agency to collect on the debt. The employee stated to him that he does not have to show any paperwork because this is a commercial debt not a consumer debt and began stating that we do not want to pay and that he will file a judgement against us and garnish our wages. My husband offered a settlement and a monthly repayment offer he said no that we have to pay an amount down that we do not have and a high monthly payment and again stated that he will file a judgement and garnish our wages. He also sent an email stating that a settlement was approved and my husband verbally agreed to 6600 my husband never agreed to such a settlement with this man. He has called us before 8 am in the morning leaving threatening messages if we do not call him with our bank information he will file suit. and again garnish our wages. We contacted the company the debt is with and he called and left another threatening message yelling stating do not contact my client any more or he will file suit against us. This employee has stated to my husband your wife as decent credit she can get a loan and pay the amount we are requesting he has also requested our banking information so he can decide if we cannot actually pay the amount he is requesting. My husband asked to speak with his supervisor and he stated he is the supervisor and we cannot speak to anyone else (yelling). I feel really threaten by this employee because he has done nothing but make threats to us and raises his voice every time you make contact with him he has our personal information and that really makes me uneasy because he does not want to settle this matter it seems all he wants to do us file a judgement and try and garnish our wages because he has said that on numerous occasions and on voicemails and emails he has sent. He has not been professional throughout this process at all we have gotten from this company are threats no settlement at all he just keeps saying it is a commercial debt it is not a consumer debt so we are not covered under the Fair Debt Collection Practicing Act.Desired Settlement: I would like speak to someone else regarding this matter and maybe come to an agreement.
