Steer far away!! If I had read the reviews below regarding this company and them damaging their furniture I would have NEVER moved forwardBefore I hired them, I specially spoke with the owner, Ed and physically showed him MY furniture, which I could not have stressed more, the caution needed with my antique Original Provisional French Bedroom set which was imported from France and a wedding gift from my fartherIt has so many special meanings to meHe guaranteed me all would be “perfect and well” The day of the move, I also pointed out to the movers AND the owner, AGAIN the bottom of my Bedroom set- dresser drawer which has unique specific details and must be wrapped and handled with careThey “yes’d” me to piecesOnce we arrived to my new home and while they were unloading the truck, after minutes they showed me my BROKEN dresser drawer! I was clearly very upset and called the ownerNonetheless after us going back and forth on the phone he hung up on meRUDEHe was yelling over me and would not listenI ultimately told Ed that I had more to advise him and he would not listenMy husband also stated while they were trying to show him “why” the dresser broke, one of the movers was cursing uncontrollablyUnprofessional by all means Please also know the company’s movers, one specially, was VERY out of line and forward with meI am a married woman I will have my attorney follow up with them being the owner did not want to listen They broke my furnitureDid a very POOR job in GLUEING it back togetherAnd NEVER put the original screws back in the armoire which they dissembled All photos are attached If I could give this company a ZERO, NO stars Whatsoever I would

Hired Keating Moving and Storage Company to move meThe company did not perform as expectedThe company was recommended to me by a personal friendWorkers mishandled, broke/ damaged, as well as, scratched several furniture itemsCompany did not attempt to get my couch into my new home the day of the move and stated that I needed to use another company they recommended/affiliated with to take my couch apart and put togetherMoving Company wanted to charge me an extra fee($150.00) to re-deliver(stated in text message) which is unfair because they provided poor service and did not complete the jobWhen I contacted company owner to inform him of all the damage , he did not respond until I contacted him for a third time in which he replied that he "was away and that I seem to be a critical person." He requested photos of damage and I never heard from him until two weeks later I scheduled the hire of the "*** *** to pick up my couch from Keating Storage to disassemble/reassemble my c

Review: We contracted Keating to move us from [redacted] to [redacted]. Our furniture was picked up on Thursday,6/** kept overnight on a truck, and delivered to us on Friday, 6/*. In the process, our Tempur-pedic mattress was ruined. We have tried repeatedly to resolve this matter with [redacted], the [redacted] since then. He does not return calls, but he occasionally answers the phone. We told him that,as per the manufacturer website, the mattress must always be transported flat. He blamed us:"Why didn't you tell me that?" I do not routinely read manufacturer's websites, and I did so only after I learned it was ruined. Is it not his responsibility to know this? He refuses to give us a contact number for insurer, he never suggested additional insurance, and he has offered us $50 as final settlement.Desired Settlement: Payment of cost to replace mattress.
